Guys, The following are resources which Mark, Danny and Joe will find useful to have. As well, the rest of you who will be in attendance may find this stuff useful to look over beforehand (but you don't have to worry about printing stuff out; I'll be bringing it all with me). ENJOY... The Summer Meeting & Draft Agenda - http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/2005GBRFLSummerMeeting.doc. (Yes, as per the agenda, I do want us to at least discuss the "Flex Lineup for Bonus Games" issue again; to refresh your memory on this, go to: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1062722757.) Write-in Draft Boards that pre-include everybody's current rosters - http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/DraftBoards2005.doc. URL's for stats pages for the last NINE Pro Bowls, 1997 through 2005 (yes, this regards the presentation I will be making and the discussion we will be having about the "Mark Hahn Postseason Inclusion Plan"; this took A TON of digging; I felt like I was working on my dissertation) - http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/ProBowls97-05.txt. And, here is a link to the full Excel draft pick grid again - http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/gbrfl/GBRFL2005draftpicksgrid.xls. See Yous on the Morrow, Steg Commissioner, GBRFL

Fellas, The "Rosters" and "Transactions" pages at the league site have been TOTALLY updated. Check it out; check for errors, please! ... News regarding the rules discussions and voting that we did not get around to posting here during the meeting yesterday... By a vote of Yes - 5, No - 4, Abstain - 1, the "Postseason Inclusion Proposal through the Pro Bowl" (without any caveats) was accepted. For detailed information on how this works (especially, FYI, GBRFL2ers), go to: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1109314209. Further information to come as the postseason closes in. In a bit of a suprise (to me, at least), by a vote of Yes - 4, No - 1, Abstain - 5,* the "Flex Lineup Option" was (finally) accepted. For detailed information on how this will work, go to: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1062722757. Further information to come as the season closes in. By a vote of Yes - 1, No - 4, Abstain - 5,* adding "Offseason Free-agency" was rejected. The issue of changing the 3-point category of "Fumbles Lost" to "Fumbles" never even came to a vote. It will remain as is. Also of note, DB brought up changing how the "Draft Lottery" is weighted. He, in general, but not with specificity, which along with the fact that it would not have taken effect yesterday anyway is why it wasn't voted on, proposed weighting it so it favored the teams going downward even more. In (very) short, he felt that the last place team's getting just 5 tickets in the hat compared with the cumulative 10 tickets 6th through 9th get is not adequate; he believes that the last place team should have a better chance than 33% of getting the first pick. I lean in neither direction on this, so, fair warning, to get this acted upon in the future, know that it is not something that is going to be high on my list of priorities to follow up on. Take the do-it-yourself approach (if you are someone who cares about this). What needs to be done, as per where this was dropped at the meeting, is 1) a specificly-worded proposal with specific numbers proposed and 2) preferably, like I do with issues I think to bring up/am inspired by, a discussion thread started on our league board here. *(Some of these "abstentions" were voluntary, i.e. voiced at the meeting; and some I am just referring to as "abstentions", i.e., they were involuntary, because the votes of the guys who were not present would not have made a difference and we were just expediting the process.) Well, Over and Out, Steg P.S. (Do remember that the Draft discussion thread is located at: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=56;a ction=display;num=1122001803.)
