Last wire picks.
« on: Nov 19th, 2003, 8:05pm »

My last chance to pick up players that might see action in the playoffs.  My roster;
QB - McNair, Hasselbeck
RB - S. Davis, McAllister, Pittman, Foster, Wheatley
WR - Harrison, Toomer, Mason, Warrick, Calico, Streets
K- Vanderjagt
D - MIN
We play 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 2Flex, 1K and 1D

I have 2 spots open and the wire is thin.   These are the best options;

A. davis, N. Burelson, Jonathan Carter, CHI WRs, Givens, B. Loyd, Thomas Jones, Sammy Morris,  Dallas Clark and the CIN defence.

Which are the 2 best options?  Thanks for the input.

The only "d" in Minnesota is the one in DUI. Pick up Cincy

You can't be afraid of a playmaker.

LOL, DUI, that is funny.

If I were you I would look into Johnathan Carter. I'm not a Jet fan but I do follow them alot. Mostly because I listen to 1050 ESPN Radio every second I'm in the car.

The team was high on him in the pre-season but they put him on the practice squad. The kid has speed and Conway is barely a threat. He wouldn' be a bad pick-up.

DUI - Thats great.   When  it comes to defences the ones that are left are CIN, OAK, CHI and ATL.  I think CIN has the best shot to help  me, then OAK.

I like both Andre Davis and Jonathan Carter(with the way Pennington is playing).  Would you pick Carter over Davis though?   What about S. Morris or T. Jones?

From your list above, I like Andre Davis and Dallas Clark.  I believe that Andre Davis has a great opportunity to become the go-to guy in Cleveland now that Kevin Johnson is gone.  His competition is Quincy Morgan, who has been up-and-down at best, downright disappointing at worst.  And, with Pollard out in Indy and, moreover, Harrison's hammy hurtin', I think Dallas Clark will become more and more part of their potent passing game.  Good luck!
