Here's how it reads on "The REAL Feed":

Tagliabue suggests two Monday night games each week
NFL.com (11.12.2003 23:06)
Commissioner Paul Tagliabue wants to explore the possiblity of scheduling two regular-season games each Monday night.

So, whatchya's think?  I kind of dig it,... I think.

Will both be nationally televised, or will they be shown geographically?

I wouldn't mind having a choice of games on Monday night so I wouldn't have to sit through a St. Louis v. Cleveland game that seems to have no compelling story-line whatsoever.

I think it would also be good to give some more teams some national exposure.  Under the current system, teams that are not expected to do well (Minnesota, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Carolina) get no MNF games.  Next year a team like Detroit or Houston may get no MNF games, but could turn out to be surprise teams that I would want to see.

I'm not in favor of the idea.  One it takes a game away from the Sunday Ticket package & you know the price tag will not go down.  Two what if by chance both games are equally good or equally bad?  The Sunday night-Monday night switch-a-roo is a more reasonable idea in my opinion.

Does that mean we would have to watch GB, Dal, Oak, and teams we don't enjoy watching (even if they are good) more.  Would they change the rule a team can play on MNF 6 times now.  I don't think it would add that much.  We would just see more of the same teams.

I may not be correct very often..........but I am always willing to give an opinion.

From what I've heard, ABC would like to have the two Monday night games so they could choose the more important/interesting one for a national audience.
