Here's the preview of a goodie from "The REAL Feed":

Fantasy football: For fantasy success, the team makes all the difference
StarTribune: Sports (06.11.2003 16:40)
Fantasy football might be all about individual players, but often the team situations these guys are in have more to do with their success than anything else. Don't believe me? Then read on:

VERY worth a look-see! Here is a link to the article:

http://www.startribune.com/stories/503/4197707.html.

Enjoy, all!

Here's a real nice find on "The REAL Feed":

Fantasy football: How to play wide receiver roulette
StarTribune: Sports (14.11.2003 08:36)
In a season where Anquan Boldin has become a more valuable fantasy threat at wide receiver than Terrell Owens, the question needs to be asked - what the heck is going on with this group? Playing wide receiver roulette each week has become a common practice for fantasy owners, and below is a look at the field.

Here's the link:

http://www.startribune.com/stories/503/4210363.html.

Enjoy this one, fellaz! It's DEFINITELY worth perusing!

...

Should us T.O. owners be preparing to give up on him here soon, real soon?

A little something else for ya'lls Friday morning from atop "The REAL Feed"; it's responses to letters:

Fantasy football: Dear John letters from fantasy fans
StarTribune: Sports (21.11.2003 07:30)
You wrote, you asked, I answered. Here’s a recent sampling of reader e-mails:

Also, for your Friday, don't miss out on Jeff West's new piece right here @FantasyFootballer.com:

Fun tale along with a couple interesting Q-n-A's.  Here's the intro from "The REAL Feed":

Fantasy football: Don't celebrate until week is done
StarTribune: Sports (12.12.2003 07:48)
Last week the best squad of fantasy talent I'd assembled in some time -- Peyton Manning, Michael Vick, Edgerrin James, Fred Taylor, Marvin Harrison, Isaac Bruce, Mike Vanderjagt -- led my squad into our league's playoffs.

Here's the link to the whole piece:

Here is a nice read from "The REAL Feed" to get your fantasy-football juices flowing:

Back Page: 2004 Free-agent running backs
SI.com: NFL (22.03.2004 23:23)

And, a link -
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/fantasy/03/19/back.page/index.html .

I would say, as is unfortunately the case with many big-media fantasy-football productions, that this piece is better for just general information rather than fantasy-specific advice.  This guy's "Top 15" list along with his reasoning is rather suspect from a purely fantasy-football perspective.

This, off "The REAL Feed", is at least worth making known to the public here, especially to our FF newbies...

Fantasy Football 101
About.com: Football (25.05.2004 21:33)
Fantasy Football has been around for many years, but with the growth of the internet has come an explosion of interest in the fantasy game. In the past, fantasy commissioners poured over box scores after the games, determining fantasy game...

Two goodies in a row hidin', tucked away about midway down "The REAL Feed":

A couple more fantasy treats straight from off "The REAL Feed"...

On fantasy football: Postseason pause for a midseason report
SunSpot.net - Sports (28.10.2004 07:24)

Fantasy Football: Halloween imitators
StarTribune: Sports (27.10.2004 21:27)
You would think most NFL players are a little too old to get into Halloween, but apparently their bosses disagree. The NFL will announce later today that players must dress up this year according to their fantasy status, and here's what you can expect:

Enjoy your treats, boyz... or tricks... "Turn trick or treat!"  Puts a new spin on things, huh? I like to call it "adult" trick-or-treating!

Here's really a goodie from off "the Gridiron Newsstand":

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/columnist/pitzer-insider/2004-12 -01-late-season_x.htm.

It's about down-the-stretch strategy and making late-season moves.  I think it's a great piece.

A nice Week 16/Championship Week goodie from "The REAL Feed":

Fantasy football: It's all about us, guys
StarTribune: Sports (23.12.2004 01:31)
They have to know we're out here, sweating through Week 16 on the couch just as much as they are on the turf. The question is, do they know they're playing for all the marbles this weekend, instead of Super Bowl weekend? Does Rod Smith or Chad Lewis or Daunte Culpepper have any idea that they'll ...

Dolphins kicker Olindo Mare had a humorous take on the many fantasy football publications that no longer consider him among the league's top kickers.
