This goes to show you how much BS is floating around out there...  This guy was being touted as the likely starting tailback for the Seahawks this year as recently as yesterday with Forsett's future being put accordingly in doubt...  WRONG, "experts"...  From "The REAL Feed":

Seahawks release recently acquired LenDale White
The Sports Network: NFL (28.05.2010 18:14)

All that said, this is a somewhat baffling move!

This nugget from a LOCAL source on "The REAL Feed" is worth tucking away and keeping in your back hip pocket...  After all, this player is reuniting with a coach with whom he had great success:

Former USC star Mike Williams is making an impression with Seahawks
The Seattle Times: Seahawks (09.08.2010 19:58)
Receiver Mike Williams, who has been out of the NFL since playing at 270 pounds in 2007, has slimmed down and is looking good in the Seahawks' camp.

Okay, I acquired the first Week 1 free-agent pick in the GBRFL a few days ago, so I can now leak out at least one of my sleepers, and I'm going to use this article off "The REAL Feed" as my prompter:

Seahawks looking to trade Houshmandzadeh, save over $7M
NFL.com (02.09.2010 18:12)
Seattle likes its emerging wide receivers and has made it know that wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, a top free agent signing by its prior regime in 2009, is available, according to NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora.

The sleeper is, with what I take to be further corroborating evidence of his emergence here with this article, Mike Williams.  He's looked fantastic and is in a totally auspicious situation, on a receiver-needy team and reunited with his old college coach with whom he thrived.  In fact, I think he easily has the potential to be a top-20 fantasy receiver this year.

And, this is it...  Let's prepare to finally welcome Mike Williams to NFL stardom... and FF start 'em!  From "The REAL Feed":

Seattle Seahawks release veteran WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh
ESPN: NFL (04.09.2010 13:10)
The Seattle Seahawks has cut wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, a team source told ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Not a hard-news story, but probably one the bottom lines of which we fantasy footballers should be mindful moving forward...  From a LOCAL source on "The REAL Feed":

Stats don't tell story of Seahawks' start
Canada.com - Sports - Football (28.09.2010 06:39)
Through three games, the Seattle Seahawks rank near the bottom ofthe NFL in the two biggest statistical categories. They're 29th of32 teams in total offence and 28th in total defence. Their threeopponents have outgained them by almost 100 yards per game. Theyjust completed a game in which San Die...

I would have to disagree with your assessment....in the post right above this, you say Zach Miller was signed.   I think his is the only value that went up.

Well, my reasoning is, position aside, TE's Carlson, Miller and big-man WR Williams all vie for the same balls. Yes, Miller is definitely the greatest beneficiary of the Carlson injury, but I think Williams is a strong secondary beneficiary. That's all.
