Stafford injures knee today... Here it is as told by this LOCAL source on "The REAL Feed":
Stafford leaves game with knee injury FREEP: Sports (04.10.2009 15:56) CHICAGO -- Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, has left today's game against the Bears with a right knee injury. Veteran Daunte Culpepper is replacing him, with the Lions trailing in the fourth quarter, 41-24.
Looks like the Stafford injury isn't so bad... according to "The REAL Feed":
Detroit Lions QB Stafford 'day-to-day United Press International: Sports (05.10.2009 16:05) DETROIT, Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Detroit Lions quarterback Matt Stafford suffered a knee injury in Sunday's 48-24 loss to the Chicago Bears and is listed as day-to-day, the NFL team said.
Rumors are starting to fly regarding Matthew Stafford. He is going to be out this week, and rumors are flying that he might be out for a few weeks to rest the knee, possibly the entire season if surgery is required. Apparently the knee became swullen again this weekend.....
This article alludes to the fact that Culpepper will get the start if Stafford does not go. ... I don;t think anyone was sure of Culpeppers health and Stanton's status. My guess is only those in deep keep leagues even care about the Lions QB situation.
