Vince Young headed to the IR... and, despite the article's title, perhaps out of Tennessee... From "The REAL Feed": Titans owner Adams: 'I haven't given up on Vince NFL.com (22.11.2010 16:46) Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams said he hasn't given up on Vince Young and that the quarterback and coach Jeff Fisher are going to have to "work together" following a reported locker room confrontation, according to the Tennessean.

Regarding Vince Young, I thought that was a bad match of, not to liken Bud Adams to Daniel Snyder generally speaking, but of Snyder-esque proportions. That very year they brought in Norm Chow from USC, who just played Texas and Young for the National Championship, to be their offensive coordinator. Leinart, who had great success under Chow, evidence that he fit his system, something that you could surmise Young would not, not that Leinart would have been the answer, but, could have been gotten much cheaper. This had owner interference written all over it, and like almost everything Snyder does it went against the makeup and chemistry of the team and coaching staff. ... Regarding Fisher, from "The REAL Feed": Titans owner decides to bring Fisher back for '11 SI.com: NFL (07.01.2011 16:37) NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams has decided to keep Jeff Fisher for the 2011 season.

As it turns out, Young isn't the only one gone; Fisher is, too. From "The REAL Feed": Fisher, Titans part ways after more than 16 seasons NFL.com (27.01.2011 19:16) Jeff Fisher, the NFL's longest-tenured head coach, will not return as head coach the Tennessee Titans announced Thursday.

What do you think? I think this is unconventional (which I usually like), but incorrect wisdom (in this case)... From "The REAL Feed": Three-and-out: Hasselbeck or Locker for Titans? USA TODAY: Sports (07.06.2012 17:20) The Huddle is scanning some of the upcoming quarterback battles across the NFL with today's look at Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker. Hass may start the season, but, even if he does, I do not think he lasts long at all, maybe not even a month.
