"the Gridiron" T-shirts and Add-on feature

Quote Quote Modify Modify

My fellow Gridironers and Gridironettes,

You may have already noticed the two new spinning, yellow "NEW" signs.  One is for our first-ever "the Gridiron" t-shirt and the other is an opportunity for you guys with web sites to add "the Gridiron" to your sites. Here are the direct links:

For T-shirts:
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/t-shirt.htm;

For the web-site Add-on feature:
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/addit.php.

NOW, get on over and treat yourself to one of these original t's (which may be worth a bundle somday ) AND get "the Gridiron" up on your site with the add on.  Give back a little bit AND spread the word with these awesome opportunities!!!  Over and out,...

...Your Friend in Fantasy Football,
Steve Steg

I like the add-on feature, Steg.  Having the latest updated threads is sweet.

Also, on the t-shirts, I hear John Elway has been sporting his lately.

A picture would be worth a thousand words???? No wait....A picture could be worth 20 bucks. Stegasorus - How can I see the work of art on that shirt?

Sidebar: I bought a shirt in Osco drugs that was in the clearance bucket for 6 bucks. It said :

   THE GRIDIRON
  Where the pigskin meets the metal

Its obvious that Osco doent know who its messing with.

To send this thing into circles...  If only I could afford a scanner... ...  The irony...

There will be some "evidence", though, soon.  In any event, however, do you think Steg here, knowing how I am, would put out a total piece of garbage?  $20 may be a bit overpriced, admittedly and actually, but the point isn't that I want to go into the t-shirt business; the point is, as is stated on the t-shirt page, to help this place stay up and running... and growing, preferably.  The shirts are sharp.  The scratch helps the cause.

...

Thanks for your expressing at least some interest in the t's (it gives me some hope) and the rest of the sentiment of your post, in any case, sk!

I'm going to try to get some digital pics of it too... Steg will have plenty of options to choose from.

Okay, FIRST order of business I had to come back to...  I made the credit card order form more thorough and professional.  In the first version of the form, if you noticed, I had forgotten to ask for a couple VERY important items of information such as quantity and SIZE, ... just a little important, especially the latter, when it comes to ordering clothing.  Here's the page now:

https://ffpro.hostica.com/secure/gridirongoods/t-shirtorderform.htm.

I also added a reminder to this effect on the general t-shirts "pitch" page:

http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/t-shirt.htm.

Let's get them orders in!!!  The site needs support!!!

...

Visuals of the shirt forthcoming...

Yes, I too wore my limited edition collectible Gridiron t-shirt to my draft this morning.  Unfortunately it was an autodraft, so the only person who seemed at all impressed with it was (not even a person), my dog.

However, I had a terrible draft position and came out of it with a very solid team (quite possibly the best in the league), so I credit it all to the positive karma the shirt exuded.

And, even though no one was around to see me, I looked good!

I wore my Gridiron T to the store today and some old guy behind me in line asked, "What is FFPro.com?" I told him it was a great website geared towards the Finger Food Professional... and he believed me!   After explaining to him what it really was, he told me that his grandkids played fantasy football and he was going to have them check it out. Pretty cool.

I wore my t-shirt on Sunday and had a great week in my money league.  This shirt seems to be bringing me good luck in the league so i'll have to keep wearing it.  (I didn't wear it week one and my opponent had his best fantasy day in 3 years and eked out a victory.)

Awesome, Mossman! I hope you like it and get some good wearin' out of it!  I also hope it brings you the good luck you are looking for this weekend!

...

Also, Callie sent me some pictures of the shirt.  They specifically show what's on the shirt, but not really how they're on the shirt, not that the design is very sophisticated, but it is clean and nice-looking and these pics do not really do it justice.  However, they are better than nothing.  Hopefully, seeing something will prompt more of you to make a purchase.

I do now realize that I have a scanner at my disposal here at school.  So, I intend to take a couple more "catalog-type" shots with the shirt's being worn.  As to when I will get around to that, though,... Lord only knows.  In any event, please know that your purchase makes a difference.

Here are the links to the pics:

The front of the shirt -
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/images/ShirtFront.jpg;

A more close-up picture of that front logo -
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/images/FrontLogo.jpg;

The back of the shirt -
http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/images/ShirtBack.jpg.

I hope these help address any concerns and encourage you to purchase one of these nice, original t's.

Understand, I sent Steg scans of the logos because he said he wanted scans of the logos.  Not a good medium for that sort of thing.

However...picture your lovely lady (or for the Gridironettes, your super hunk) walking around your living room, into your bedroom, wearing nothing but an extra large FFPro.com T....  Personally, that's what I wear around the house.

And your lady KNOWS how much you love fantasy football and the Gridiron.  Take it from a lady, we like to make you guys happy with things like that.

Edit:  Oh, forgot to mention, you have to tell her how GREAT she looks in it--and how sexy!  Show some appreciation!  Sometimes guys ask their ladies to wear things full of elastic and scratchy lace.  Very uncomfortable!  Trust me, the Gridiron T feels great.  And a good stud knows how to make HER happy with things like that.

I have been wearing my shirt for a while now.  Looked good when I got it, looks good after many a washings!    As a matter of fact, I am planning on doing a little advertising at the bar tomorrow by wearing it.

Just thought I should let yous know for whatever it's "worth"...  I am heading up to Jersey this Thursday night for a long weekend through Monday midday.  I deal with the t-shirt stuff up there.  So, if you guys want to (help the effort here) and purchase these nifty duds, now would be a good time...  You'd likely have your shirt(s) within a week or so.

By the way, a comment worth adding regarding the shirts is that they are always either 100% cotton or 100% combined cotton(s).  These are good t's!
