I'll be out of state in April. Not sure about the dates. (Mom's having surgery, and I'm going back to help out.)

What dates are involved for the mock? I'll play if I can.

ETA: Internet there could be dicey.

I say you guys just get to it...  I know you guys know what you are doing with this and are passionate about it.  No need to wait for the "masses" (who, actually, may just screw it up).  It's quality, not quantity.  I trust that you guys will do a good job with this.  All I ask is that you guys come up with a nice standard format and stick to it and pay attention to detail, like spelling and so forth, so as to give it a reasonably professional feel and make it user-friendly to guests.  Again, it's quality, not quantity.  Anyway, good luck with it...  I look forward to seeing the "product" of your efforts (especially since I have a first-round pick in the GBRFL this year).

Sorry, guys.  I finally found out that I won't be around for most of the 2 weeks before the draft.  Probably won't even get to watch it, so my 2 report teams are up for grabs.

Mom's surgery went well, but she's in a lot of pain and can't do much of anything.  I think she'll probably fall to the second round.

So, when is this show going to hit the road? Is it going to go off?  I, for one, looked forward to it.  I know that the dudes signed up here, though only a handful, KNOW what they are doing.  Here's to hopin'...

Well,... let's put this thread to some use...  What is up with Tennessee's pick of RB Chris Johnson?  You guys know that this is not an area of strength for me...  Who is this guy?  Does this guy have any chance to compete for some carries out of the tailback position?  Does he have any chance of unseating White if White continues to be so-so?  Or, do you think they are just thinking of him as a special teams guy and role player?  This inquiring mind wants to know...

The guy can flat out fly (runs a 4.24) and has good size too (5 ft 11 in, 95 lbs.)

Very intersting pick. He can play both RB and WR, so it will be interesting to see where he fits in there in Tenn.

Like BW said... he's a burner. Remember Trung Canidate? This is part 2. He's probably a better football player than Canidate was because of his excellent hands as a receiver. Johnson will likely replace Chris Henry (2nd round pick last year) and see a few balls a game as long as LenDale White is healthy and in shape.

The pick was a mystery though, especially given their desperate need for receivers and the availability of Limas Sweed, a blue-chipper who was productive with Vince Young at Texas.

Chris Johnson will likely never be an every down kind of back, he really is a bit small at 5'10 1/2 inches and under 200 pounds.  Will probably contribute on special teams and as a receiver out of the backfield.

What really concerns me is Chris Henry...he had some off the field (drug) problems...but I must be about the only guy in the world who thinks this guy can flat run the ball.  He is very big, very tough, and has good moves...I'd still keep an eye on this 2nd year veteran.
