MC, I've disallowed your last pick (of Garrard)...  You are NOW in a position to make a selection...

Gonzalez before Harrison!!! And, with no second thoughts!!!

In fact, I would have selected Gonzalez over Ward, who was taken a slot before, and the rubber pretty much meets the road on that statement as I have them both on my GBRFL team, and, come cut-down time, I would... and may actually be in a position to have to keep Gonzalez (among others) over Ward,... a player I really love, mind you.

I actually like Dallas Clark's chances to improve on a great season even more than Gonzo having a breakout season. Actually, if Harrison ends up being done or "semi" done then I like both guys chances at having a fruitful year.

I believe we skipped a number, #82?  Therefore I edited my pick and made it number #83, philly or a moderator needs to change Philly's pick (Stallworth) to #82.

Finally got back in here!

Vernon Davis could be amazing in PPR leagues and with a Martz offense.

96 picks and counting...I'm thinking that Marvin Harrison should have been taken at least by the 80th pick or so....there is a chance at a super steal if he even plays half a season!

I say we call it a day with this one,... and rev up for another.

Also, assuming it was intentional, thanks for letting the old captain have the last pick.

Overall I'd say that this thing was fairly accurate. There were a few stretches, including some from myself. Possible steals of the draft in my opinion......Larry Johnson at 16; Earnest Graham at 56; Marvin Harrison at 98!!!

My analysis (imo of course), now I am referring to Steg's rankings, and not going off of the draft format, I have no idea who picked who, I'll look back at that later, just so I don't offend anyone. We'll break it down into rounds and try to keep it to 2-3 players per round.

Rd 1.
1. RB Adrian Peterson - Vikings
2. RB LaDainain Tomlinson - Chargers
3. RB Steven Jackson - Rams
4. RB Joseph Addai - Colts
5. RB Brian Westbrook - Eagles
6. QB Tom Brady - Patriots
7. QB Peyton Manning - Colts
8. WR Randy Moss - Patriots
9. RB Frank Gore - 49ers
10. RB Marion Barber - Cowboys
11. RB Ryan Grant - Packers
12. RB Clinton Portis - Redskins

Loved the first round, however I am not sold on Grant, I'd easily would have bounced him out of the 1st rd, easily could move Lynch into his spot, just don't believe Grant is worthy of a 1st round pick, late 2nd to me. Otherwise I can't argue with the 1st round, even Westbroook at #5 I'd easily take Jackson-Addai over him.

2nd Rd
13. RB Marshawn Lynch - Bills
14. QB Tony Romo - Cowboys
15. WR Terrell Owens - Cowboys
16. RB Larry Johnson - Chiefs
17. WR Reggie Wayne - Colts
18. RB Willis McGahee - Ravens
19. WR T. J. Houshmandzadeh - Bengals
20. WR Braylon Edwards - Browns
21. RB Reggie Bush - Saints
22. RB Maurice Jones-Drew - Jaguars
23. WR Andre Johnson - Texans
24. WR Marques Colston - Saints

Great 2nd round as well, the only reach I see is Bush, out of the dozen + mocks I've done, NEVER seen him go before the late 3rd, usually he's available 4th sometimes 5th rds. Otherwise the only things I see is those last 4 WR's, I have them ranked Edwards, Colston, Housh, Johnson... but it's all personnal preference, this is mine.

3rd Rd.
25. WR Larry Fitzgerald - Cardinals
26. RB Willie Parker - Steelers
27. RB Jamal Lewis - Browns
28. QB Drew Brees - Saints
29. QB Derek Anderson - Browns
30. RB Brandon Jacobs - Giants
31. QB Carson Palmer - Bengals
32. RB Laurence Maroney - Patriots
33. WR Steve Smith - Panthers
34. QB Ben Roethlisberger - Steelers
35. WR Chad Johnson - Bengals
36. WR Torry Holt - Rams

The 4 QB's selected here are all good choices, I've seen Brees sneak into the end of the 2nd, I liked the Palmer pick, alot of people are shying away from Parker so maybe a little early on him, seen him available in the 4th rd, and Jacobs, not a fan believe there are better options, easily could slide him into the bottom of the 3rd, but this not being teams, it's hard to know what that owner would be thinking, maybe he would need him, still would slide him down.

4th Rd
37. TE Antonio Gates - Chargers
38. RB Michael Turner - Falcons
39. RB Selvin Young - Broncos
40. TE Jason Witten - Cowboys
41. RB Ronnie Brown - Dolphins
42. WR Plaxico Burress - Giants
43. RB LenDale White - Titans
44. RB Rudi Johnson - Bengals
45. WR Wes Welker - Patriots
46. RB Thomas Jones - Jets
47. RB Darren McFadden - Raiders
48. WR Anquan Boldin - Cardinals

Easily would have flip flopped Gates-Witten, I believe Witten will be the first TE off the board, he has a better QB. Selvin Young pick, pretty early for the RBBC thing in Denver, who hell knows who'll be carrying the rock there, changes every year it seems. Out of this group Rudi Johnson has my Comeback Player of the Year written on it, Ronnie Brown scares me at #41, if he's my 3rd RB, I'm all good. I like Turner to turn some heads in Atlanta, and I don't like the White pick, how many RBs have they drafted in the last couple years, looks like a share the load there, slide him down.

5th Rd
49. WR Roy Williams - Lions
50. TE Kellen Winslow - Browns
51. RB Julius Jones - Seahawks
52. RB Fred Taylor - Jaguars
53. WR Brandon Marshall - Broncos
54. RB Matt Forte - Bears
55. QB Marc Bulger - Rams
56. RB Earnest Graham - Buccaneers
57. WR Santonio Holmes - Steelers
58. TE Tony Gonzalez - Chiefs
59. QB Matt Hasselbeck - Seahawks
60. WR Calvin Johnson - Lions

Hasselbeck, loved the pick, personally I think he should slide up, he had a great year last year, easily slide him up before Bulger, has Bulger played a full season yet????? I like J. Jones in Seattle, look for nice numbers, I may have reached for Marshall, I do like Holmes and Calvin Johnson, Marshall needs to get his act together, if he does, it's a good pick, and how long can Taylor play, I like him, but god he scares me, nice pick of Forte, could be a nice rookie. Graham I'm not a big fan of either, it's hard telling who Gruden will have carrying the ball, anyone know how Cadillac is?

6th Rd
61. QB Donavon McNabb - Eagles
62. RB Edgerrin James - Cardinals
63. WR Dwayne Bowe - Chiefs
64. WR Greg Jennings - Packers
65. RB Jonathon Stewart - Panthers
66. RB Deuce McAllister - Saints
67. WR Lee Evans - Bills
68. WR Donald Driver - Packers
69. QB Eli Manning - Giants
70. QB Jay Cutler - Broncos
71. TE Dallas Clark - Colts
72. WR Chris Chambers - Chargers

Getting down here in players, McAllister worries me, injuries... and Lee Evans, WOW did he burn me last year, I'd have a hard time drafting him this year again, even in the 6th round, give me him in the 8th, won't happen probably but you won't see me taking him. Dallas Clark I probably would slide him up some, just because of who is QB is.

Anyway, here's just my quick glance. Looking forward to the season!!!!

First off, VERY nice, well thought-out analysis, Larsman!  Good job!

Also, I've, alas, made the final update to our Top 100 Rankings list in the initial post of this thread. Check it on out...

A few thoughts . . .

Jackson and Addai before Westbrook. Hmmm. Can't help thinking Westbrook is year-in and year-out still underrated, especially in PPR leagues. The guy is a beast. I'd pick him before Jackson; he and Addai are pretty close though.

I wouldn't pick Peyton Manning and Frank Gore before Marion Barber.  As for Manning, there are too many other good qbs you can get later to waste such an early pick on Manning: Romo for one, but also Brees.  As for Gore, . . . geez, do I need to say anything?  Pick Barber before Gore, please!

There's no way I take Selvin Young at 39 -- before Ronnie Brown, Rudi Johnson, etc.?!? No way, not with Denver's impossible-to-predict rb situation. Too much risk.

I understand the remarks that Earnest Graham was a steal at 56. I agree, for now. But I wouldn't be too terribly surprised if Tampa signs one of the (many) free agent running backs -- perhaps Kevin Jones? This would really lessen Graham's value.

I'm a little surprised the Pats' D didn't get taken -- especially considering Jacksonville and Dallas got taken. I know they lost some playmakers, but come on, it's New England -- they always find someone to more than adequately fill in the holes.
