http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/news/2003/03/02/arena_roundup_ ap/. Well, the ultimate question is completely stated in the topic line... As for me, I know John Elway's Colorado Crush got their first-ever franchise victory yesterday. I have watched a little bit. Thought it was fairly entertaining. The scoring seems to get a little basketballish. (As such) The ends of games tend to be fun to watch, but the rest of the games can be a bit of a bore. (Man, did I use the phrase "the rest of the games" in the most unusual, atypical way possible? ??? ) Anyway, what's your guys' takes... on the AFL?

| That's not former Denver Bronco Gary Kubiak, who was backup to John Elway. That's Jim Kubiak! He plays for the Dallas Desperados (as per the article linked to above). Perhaps he's his younger brother or son or something.

Also, several years ago, when I was single, I was watching late night tv and they had a game on ESPN. The running back was Marshall Foreman, a guy I went to high school with in Texas. Since I worked for a radio station at the time, I went to his next game (he played for the team in Sacramento, and I live close by), went down to the locker room afterwards and chatted for a while. Watching the game live was cool, I'd go see one again...

To be honest, the only football I can get into is the NFL. NFL Europe, AFL, College Football just seems so dull compared to the NFL, in my opinion. Also, the funny thing I thought, is that Jon Gruden's brother(?) plays for the AFL Tampa Bay team. I know they have to be related because Jon always goes to all their games and Warren Sapp, Derrick Brooks appearances at the games are common. I dunno if he's any good, when I saw him play he did alright.

| I agree 100%. There are college teams that I root for, but until there's a better playoff format, I refuse to get involved heavily. As for the AFL, I've yet to come across a game, but if I did, I would probably just keep going.

| I think it would be OK in the NFL, provided they let the DBs clothes-line the WR as he crossed the line of scrimmage.
