Minnesota still in the running... according to "The REAL Feed":

While not a Vikes' fan, I sincerely do not want them to go the way of the Lakers...

There appears to be another way to make the Vikes stay put... at least for another season... according to what's currently atop "The REAL Feed":

Clause in lease could keep Vikings in Metrodome for 2012
NFL.com (05.11.2011 16:12)
The Minnesota Vikings' lease at the Metrodome is again a point of contention as the team seeks a new stadium deal.

I guess for Minnesotans that would be the "Santa 'Clause'"...

Not likely to be Los Angeles, they say... From a LOCAL source rolling off "The REAL Feed":

Vikings-to-L.A. move wouldn't be easy
StarTribune: Sports (04.12.2011 00:48)
Such a move is possible, experts say, but the NFL has made sure its relocation process doesn't let owners simply make a money grab.

Just 48 hours ago the news was bleak.  Now, it looks like the Minnesota Vikings may get saved, after all,... and for years,... decades to come...  From "The REAL Feed":

Senate approves plan for new Vikings stadium
ESPN: NFL (10.05.2012 14:14)
The Minnesota Vikings moved to within a governor's signature of getting a new $975 million stadium on Thursday after the state Senate approved a plan that relies heavily on public financing.

The Vikes are in Minnesota to stay, or so that is the way it definitely seems now...  However, they could not wait to get out of the Metrodome.  From a LOCAL source on "The REAL Feed":

Hartman: Vikings glad to leave Metrodome behind
StarTribune: Sports (13.05.2012 21:57)
The Dome had its day, but the outdated facility didn't bring in the revenue streams earned by most NFL teams.

The very last hurdle has been jumped, though it was a close call...  The Vikings are Minnesota's for decades to come.  From "The REAL Feed":

Detroit Lions (26.05.2012 00:00)
The Vikings bagged the last political sign-off necessary for their new stadium Friday when the Minneapolis City Council narrowly approved the plan. The 7-6 vote fell along the same lines as a preliminary vote a day earlier.
