Let's get this announced as "good news"...  From "The REAL Feed":

From "The REAL Feed"...

Definitely "good news":

ESPN breaks another Monday night ratings record
ESPN: NFL (24.10.2006 19:03)
ESPN's telecast of the New York Giants' 36-22 win over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night was viewed by the largest audience in cable history.

"Good news", I guess:

NFL owners approve games abroad during regular season

"Good news"...  That's what they're portraying it as...  From "The REAL Feed":

GIANTS AND DOLPHINS SET FOR LONDON
Sporting Life: NFL (02.02.2007 11:42)
The NFL will confirm Miami's London regular-season date with the New York Giants today.

With the lack of success of NFL-Europe outside Germany, is this really all that good of thing?  As I've intimated before, given the "culture" of "American" football, I remain unoptimistic as to its international appeal. Mind you, though, I'm a pretty "international" guy, but that fact doesn't make me love NFL football any less.  In fact, perhaps, quite the contrary!!!

Report: Seahawks-Pats to play in China next summer
ESPN: NFL (27.08.2006 13:20)
The NFL reportedly is ready to expose the hard-hitting game of American football to Chinese fans next year.

... ...

Reality sets in...  From off "The REAL Feed":

Report says NFL set to cancel China Bowl between Patriots and Seahawks
FaceOff: Football (01.04.2007 21:58)
NEW YORK (AP) - The NFL plans to cancel a scheduled exhibition game in China between Seattle and New England, Sports Illustrated reported on its Web site.

As per the sentiments I've expressed all along, this I think is genuinely "good news"... of sorts, i.e. by "process of elimination", so to speak.

I actually click on this just to make sure I was reading the headline right... I don't know how I am going to control my little Korean wife when I tell her about this. They must be rioting in the streets in Korea. ...  Gimme a break!!!

From the article:  "The U.S. team, making its debut in the tournament, is comprised of players from Division I, II and III colleges. The U.S. scored most of its points off defensive gaffes by the South Koreans."

And what do South Korean kids grow up playing???

With all the blessings and advantages these guys receive in life because of their athletic profession,... vis-a-vis the embarrassing "usual", these are the kinds of stories we should be hearing more about.  Figures it's one of the NFL's already established good guys who this is courtesy of.  From "The REAL Feed":

I know that the whole internationalization of the NFL is of questionable value.  I too am a critic.  But, these ticket sales indicate that Londoners seem to be quickly becoming rabid NFL fans. From "The REAL Feed":

CBS SportsLine.com NFL News (27.01.2009 10:49)
The first 70,000 tickets for the NFL's third regular-season game in London have been sold, with 20,000 bought in the first seven minutes of availability, the NFL said Tuesday.

Vis-a-vis how poorly and childishly Jay Cutler handled his situation and many overpaid babies handle their situations in the NFL in this day and age as well as coaches and those in management, how about a standing ovation for doing it the right way... on both sides of the coin, especially Tony G's?  From "The REAL Feed":
