Welcome to the latest Correspondent - RestoreTheRoar ... it's good to see that we'll have a Lions report.  It will help to put the balance of power clearly in the NFC where it belongs.

Welcome Matt!  (I guess you've heard that joke before...   )

Anyway, I look forward to getting the inside scoop on the Bills.  Plenty of interesting stories going on in the great white north with Henry still looking for a home and the debut of Losman as a starting NFL QB.

Howdy-ho, Cats!-

Being a Dallas Cowboys fan since before I was a twinkle in my mother's eye, it would be my unmitigated joy to cover my beloved 'Boys in blue for the duration of what is sure to be a fascinating season.

As a padwan of the sportswriting craft it is necessary to develop professional skills on an amateur level if I do indeed have any hopes of making it to the show one day.

Thereby, besides being a privledge and a joy, it is with a profound sense of honor that I accept the responsibilities of covering the... uhh...distinguished...

...(uh-oh, the Cowboys are already taken. Think fast, kid!)

...of covering the always entertaining and perinially up-and coming Arizona Cardinals.

Awesome, LaHorace, and to "the Gridiron", friend!!!  I think you will enjoy the joint.  We got a great group.

Moreover, I'd love to see you come aboard as a JC for the Cardinals! I hope you are ready to commit to them long-term. Here on "the Gridiron", I am most interested in people who are willing to commit for the long-haul as opposed to fly-by-nighters.

Anyway, the next step,... we need to speak.  Can you "private message" me a phone number at which you can be reached and some good times to call you.

Over and Out,

In case you haven't noticed, TWO of our "Junior Correspondents" have been promoted to "Senior Correspondents". CONGRATULATIONS to... ...
gridiron_legends a.k.a. Travis (T-Rave) Cooper and Callie a.k.a. Cheryl Wall!!! They both have done TREMENDOUS jobs over the last year. Their willingness to let me publish their fantasy insights on their respective teams, the Chargers and Raiders, here is a major boon to the site and the insights themselves are an invaluable asset. I say, "Congratulations," BUT really I should be saying, "Thank you!" You both deserve it! Here are links to their respective report pages:

Travis's Chargers page -

Cheryl's Raiders page -

HOLY COW... When it rains, it pours...

INSPIRED, I suppose, by our two most recent promotions (see post right above), we, over the last four or so hours, have added another TWO FF-specific team reports, the Bengals, the second taken on by our long-time esteemed member and Giants Senior Correspondent BarnabyWilde a.k.a. Jim O'Dell, AND the Packers, which are being done by one of our new "good guys", MordecaiCourage a.k.a. Ken Mesecher. We all know the great job Jim will do, and Ken in his short time on the site has proven to be a great contributor, fitting "the Gridiron" mold to a T. I expect he'll do a bang-up job. Make sure to catch it all:

Jim's Bengals page -
http://www.ffpro.com/teamreports/bengals/bengals-footballinfoframes.htm;

Ken's Packers page -
http://www.ffpro.com/teamreports/packers/packers-footballinfoframes.htm.

Thanks, guys, for stepping up!!!

Hows about a BIG round of applause for our newest team correspondent, who, mind you, ALREADY has gotten up his first team report, O4l a.k.a. Kevin Anderson, who is covering the Chiefs for us?  We have broken through the .500 mark AND, furthermore, cover TWO full divisions now, the NFC East AND now the AFC West!!!  ...  Kevin, to "the Gridiron @FantasyFootballer.com" team, my friend!  I am glad to have you aboard... this train that truly is gaining steam...
