Jim trades Michael Vick to Jamie for Donovan McNabb and Javon Walker. Jim will be dropping Robert Ferguson to even out his roster.

Great trade, fellas!

Might I add that it was cut/negotiated out in/facilitated by (the existence of) "the Gridiron Chatroom"!  Nice feature, huh?

The trade is official.... Welcome to Mile High Mr. Vick!!!!!

The chat room is by far my favorite feature here at the Gridiron. Without it, this trade never happens.

Remember that as this trade is technically not really "official" until the start of Week 10...

a) Robert Ferguson is NOT available to be picked up as a free-agent until Week 11, and

b) Jamie has an extra roster spot, so he can pick up one free-agent this week without making a drop.

By the way, it's also worth mentioning here that, of course, Jim could change his mind before/when submitting his lineup and drop someone else besides Ferguson OR still trade Ferguson this week.

I think long term Vick is worth WAY more than this. Mcnabb has no WRs and the running game has many issues. Vick will be back 100% next year and will be tearing it up. No doubt Vick and Price practice this offseason together somewhere like Harrison/Manning did years back. Price is nowhere near Harrison, butI just think Vick is worth more. Maybe I am not giving Donavon much love or Michael too much. The trade is not that far away, but Walker is not close enough to balance it out IMO.
