I agree.  But that is one thing that makes keeper leagues so great!!  Now is the time to go after that free agent in a trade.  I remember passing on Priest Holmes for a first rounder.  I was only willing to pay a second.  Boy was that a mistake.  Howewer, I have been the beneficiary of some of those too.....

I'm with you BW... it's especially tough when you finish as poorly as I did. In the past, I've always been amongst the top teams and now, well... I can't say it.

The good news is, basketball is in full swing and baseball is right around the corner. I know you're pretty much just a fantasy football guy, but you should seriously consider expanding your portfolio. Nothing compares to football, but those two (especially baseball) aren't far behind. You still get the same rush on draft day and winning is just as sweet.

WB............Jim plays Fantasy Baseball too...............He can't win! . Although he has had a good team. I have won our baseball league 2 out of the last 3 years. I was in the championship game all three years as well. Thats why our league is re-drafting our teams this year.

Good Luck Jim!

No, we are redrafting due to expansion! Not that I needed to this year, because I would have had an awesome team: Mark Prior, Josh Beckett, Roy Halladay, Curt Shilling...not a bad staff!

I'm sure it's too late, but it never hurts to ask... do you guys have room for one more in you baseball keeper league? As you know Jim, I've been trying to join a keeper league for a while now. In fact, I attempted to start my own last year, but as you guys know, it's tough to find people to stick out the entire season, especially when they're out of contension. Long story short, my league was a dud and I need a fantasy home. What kind of league is it?

I used to get that way, but then I started researching and following the potential draft picks.  I also started really following the free agency period.  All of that helps to get me through those bleak months until September.
