Nothing will happen. We will have to track them down.  They will post with some excuse as to why they were late and we will move on.

Yeah.  But then why have a deadline?  If some people can grab more preseason time to make their choices, why are they so special?

Sorry I haven't gotten my list up.  I have been having a problem trying to pull up the roster list on my machine.  Each time I make a request to go on the "Rosters" I get kicked off the internet.  I will try again.

I am still getting kicked out.  If I could trouble someone to e-mail me my roster (I have a good idea, just want to be sure) I would appreciate it.

The "Rosters" page at the league site has been updated according to you all's protection lists. HOWEVER...

...

(Sorry in advance, Gene, for correcting you...)

This is false...  Please refer to the third-from-the-bottom bulleted point on the "Rules/Scoring" page.  There is clear protocol, and the price paid is often stiff.  It cost a guy in the mother league, one of my best friends, mind you, Trent Green about three years ago.

When in doubt with this kind of stuff, consult that "Rules/Scoring" page.  That's what it's there for.  If you absolutely canNOT find the answer there, check the old "News & Notes" page that is linked to from there.  If the answer isn't there, do a Gridiron search on you all's board here and the GBRFL board.  If all that fails, ask me.

...

(Sorry, Keith,... but I gotta play this straight and ask...)

So, what do yous want to do here?  Given the aforementioned incorrect premise you all were working with, are yous gonna cut old Keithman some slack this time around???  I mean... this is you all's business.  It's your decision.  Yous can call an "official" vote if yous want, or yous can just "unofficially" let it slide based on the incorrect information that was posted.  It's up to you all.

But, there is a rule in place for this, one that I know you guys will want to enforce, at least, from here on out.  At least, NOTE IT NOW, and plan to proceed with it in mind (next year)!!!

I say cut him some slack this time, but the rule is clear. Next year, everyone plays by them.

I'm OK with granting him an exception this year. He indicated that he had been trying to access his roster to no avail, and a Juror is sworn to uphold the truth, right?

Since some incorrect info was posted, I say we should let it slide this year, but stick to the letter of the law next year.

(Although I wonder why we were posting our keepers nearly 2 weeks before the draft when protocol seems to indicate that 1 week is the norm...?)

Normally, I'd say follow the rules. However, none of us seemed to know the ruling on this anyway, so how could Kieth have known it? I say let it pass this time. However, and I'm just wondering out loud here; what would be the thought process if it were a dominant team like Ray's team?   Would we be less forgiving? Just asking?

Honestly, I think we would have done exactly the same thing. I don't think anyone gets special treatment here in this league based on their level of success.
