Markie, you sure did make a statement this week, going 2 - 0 and pounding me in the process 51 - 3.   The coveted GBRFL Championship is officially yours for the taking.  Great job on putting together a great club!

(I do have tie-break over you, though, spal. )

Stevie,

Thanks for the kudos but there is still a tall road ahead. This has been a tight year in terms of standings and competition.

I have been extremely lucky playing one QB for a couple of weeks and having Ramsey go down the last two. Are the Hasselbeck Bros. a dynasty in the making? I think so. In fact, I am thinking of letting Vick go this offseason and keeping the Hassels on the squad. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Markie is Da Man!!      Barring any major setbacks to his RBs he will walk home the clear winner. I guess Stegey will be sending him the trophy air mail.
Mark was nice enough to let the rest of us fight it out for the plaques. It will be a hell of a battle for sure. Nobody is the clear favorite at this point. Just when ya think someone is making a run. Markie slams down the hammer!!
Feder is coming back with Faulk though.
Trout is still fighting hard and in good shape with Marvin healthy.
Stegey has set himself up nicely for teh final push.
I'm hanging on for dear life, but have the ebst record since week 7. I'll jinx myself and say that I have only lost 2 games since then(Trout brought that to my attn).
Warner is a major threat and will probably jump past me this week.
Doug has upsets every week and will have his fees paid by Trout next year probably.
And while Frankie has struggled the last month, will be the spoiler.
That's why I love this league. It isn't over until week 17 games, at least for everyone except for Mark. Great season Mark! The pre-season FAV will get the GOLD.

Joe,

I thank you for the compliment BUT in no way, shape or form have I wrapped anything up. Like you said, we all still have some major games to play.

My luck (or intellect) in this league has been, simply put, highly suspect -

please see: Robert Edwards, the infamous Terrell Davis trade, declining David Terrell for Tom Brady,  the infamous Terrell Davis trade, trading Rod Smith (during his big year) for Albert "Collect-A-Check" Connell, Drew Bledsoe for Gary Brown and a punch in the mouth and please let's not forget the infamous Terrell Davis trade.

Anyway, good luck to all and go Hasselbeck Bros!

p.s. - Hey Vandalay - you keep that QB who can't even walk across a field without re-injuring his foot. Oh wait, I forgot Jake "the Snake" had the same problem getting off the couch making my Broncos this close to being ineligible for the playoffs.

That congratulations message could be the kiss of death for Mark. I recall a certain congratulations message that sent the once unbeatable Yeast Infection into a tail spinning skid that will be legendary in the history of GBRFL.

Anyway, I plan on being more than a spoiler big fella. I'm taking home a plaque.

I'd say trophy but I don't play Mark anymore this season so it's out of my hands.

So....is it a reference to Lawyer Milloy?? I still don't get it.
