Regarding Head Coaches

Guys,

Remember, based on a decision last year, it was decided not to concern ourselves with that extra coach round tacked on the end of the draft after team # selection.  Here's what we'll do, though, (for those who want to, like those whose head coaches are no longer head coaches... Francis... ).  At the end of the draft (but before team # selection), we'll just go through the order of the draft and let guys pick up a (new) head coach if they want to (or if they don't currently have one... Francis... ).  It'll be completely optional.  If you don't want to change your head coach, just pass.  This is not a biggie and a reasonable, quick and easy way of doing it.

Over and Out,
Steg

I guess we never did the head coach/team number thing.

Since I was to be first up, I will drop Fisher and pick up Holmgren.

Yea, and I am eventually going to have to have a talk about what pretty much caused that to happen.

This can also be dealt with Week One.  However, I'll go through the list and let you guys switch up once before.  We have until TOMORROW night at 11:59:59 to get this done (I don't have time this week to be dealing with this rather inane issue and am not really happy with the reason it's come to this).  As this is being done like this, you may want to include in your list coaches you think might get cut.

As things stand right now,...

I have Frank's choice, which I don't see being taken.

Doug is cool with Parcells, so he is not available.

I am going to pass, so Dick Vermeil won't be available (to you, Mark).

DB has now picked up Mike Holmgren and dropped Jeff Fisher, so Fisher is now available.

Submit your choices however you want, by e-mail, phone, but, preferably by making a post right here.

Okay, let me restate...  Why we forgot...  Why we neglected to finish up in a calm and organized manner...

I am good with Shanny. If I can't have him, I'll take Fisher. DeBerry, that is.

Dave Trout passes.

...

Also, by the way, we had forgotten to pick team numbers (one of the funner things to do) at the end of the draft.  Frank, Pak, and I did so later in the night.  You will see the new team numbers when I update the "Rosters" page.  However, to avoid delayed- and double-work, I am going to wait until this coach thing is sorted out before putting the page up at the site.

Joe Parsons passes!

Frank Gonzalez takes Tom Couglin!

Okay, that's done!  Thanks a bunch, guys, for helping me get this out of the way fast! The "Draft 2004" page should be up and the "Rosters" and "Transactions" pages should be all updated sometime tonight.
