Guys,

Here are the unofficial results of the three games relevant to the championship race:

Feder 29 - Steg 23
DB 38 - Frank 12
Steg 38 - Frank 2

Frank and I both finish at 20-9.  By virtue of my having head-to-head tie-break over Frank, i.e. having a 3-1 record against him, I have squeeked out our closest championship ever.  While I am proud and (you guys know me), of course, happy to have won the championship this year, I am NOT going to flaunt this one about.  I am VERY humbled and feel VERY fortunate to have won it this year.  Frank had an AWESOME team and a fantastic run, one deserving of championship recognition.  He is one of the "good guys" in the league and had he won it, I would have been happy for him and happy with my second- or third-place finish.  I know how it feels to come this close to winning and my joy at winning here does not erase my understanding of how it feels to lose, moreover, in such a tight race and in such a tough league... and with such a good team as Frank had put together this year.  Since I have won it three times before, a small part of me was rooting for Frank and felt genuinely bummed for him after I figured out the above scores,... really (my mom could attest to this).  I am just glad to have been competitive with such a great group of GM's and to have been able to take it down to the wire.

Over and Out,
Steg

Congrats Mr Stegeman on your victory.  It was a heck of a season.  Amazing how a bunch of no name players carried yuou to the championship.

It is ironic that Frank killed everyone all season yet in the last two weeks lost to the two worst teams in the league.  (yes, I would be the owner of one of those two teams.  (not too proud  ))

Congrats Steve!!! Your 4th title was AWESOME! You overcame an injury to your best player, made solid F/A moves and came back to beat Frank.  You earned this win my friend.
