To give you guys a little friction here,... among that which I have discussed with DB is along the lines of Priest Holmes for Warrick Dunn, T.J. Duckett and Kyle Boller... for Holmes with Pakman, Marc Bulger, Lee Suggs and DeShaun Foster.  Both have (tentatively) said no to those deals thus far.  The point is that something in those ballparks is what I am looking for for Holmes.

To anybody with a lottery 2nd round draft pick, available to you is Rod Smith and the protection spot with which to keep him.  This is a great deal!  Protection spots alone go for lottery 2nd round picks.  Getting Smith in the deal is just bonus!  ...  First come, first serve!!!

This deal hath finally been cut... with DB.  I did not get the 2nd-round lottery pick I wanted.  I got the one right after.  Our "Transactions" and "Rosters" pages will be updated in a few minutes to reflect this transaction.
