So, takin' a look at The Ho Joe's draft, is he workin' his "3-year" strategy,... again? Every year or two he talks about that he's setting his team up for 3 years from now. This is your 6th year, bro... That's at least 2 and as many as 4 "3-year Plans" down... Where does it end before you ditch that excuse,... eh-hem,... "plan"? ... ... 2 to 4 down... I guess infinity to go. (Inane response ALERT! Brace yourselves for an inane response.)

Ya see... The thing is... and Markie, and I think Doug and DB, can attest to this (in any event, I know Mark can because we discussed our strategies after we cut our deal(s)), although I too would have dumbly and overzealously taken Clarett at 7 (I have an excuse, however, I am a Donkey Maniac), (as I told Mark and I believe Doug and DB in subsequent phone conversations) if any two of the... my top five (Benson, C. Williams, Arrington, Smith and/or Brown), I thought it was remotely possible that Smith and Brown would both fall to me at 6-7 (I thought there was an outside chance Pak might take M. Williams since he had R. Williams and that Edwards could go in the top 5), I WOULD HAVE TAKEN THEM BOTH and NOT Clarett, my beloved , albeit blindly , Bronco, and I have been VERY clear and vocal about my disinterest in Brown. The "bottom line" is that playing fantasy football is like playing the stock market. Every move you make must be thought about in terms of maximizing the value you are acquiring. That doesn't mean you shouldn't go with your gut or even your heart sometimes, but more often than not you gotta use your head,... in which should be seated your brain if you have one. Taking Clarett over Smith or Brown was ultimately nuts, and I knew that.

So does that mean Joe is stupid or just fucking with you guys ? Also Brown was not slipping past 4 unless you had the #4 pick, Steg.
