Joe it must be reassuring to know that when you eat, sleep, and breathe this shit all year, you get to turn in a winning season every four years. By the way, I have left you a couple of messages on your fictitious office phone; maybe your "secretary" hasn't fowarded them to you. Here's to another micro-managed, inexplicably ineffective campaign. Sure glad all that yearlong research produced such a top-flite RB pick in the first round....what's his name????

Guys, I am quoting this/posting this by way of quoting it here, on a thread more appropriate to its trash-talkin' theme, so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of the thread on which it was originally posted which is not made for trash-talkin'.  I just want it to be able to get due attention by being in a more apropos place.

Joe, since a lot of us have changed team names this year, I have a few suggestions for you:

"Daunte's Peaked"

"Daunte's Peeking... at Randy in Oakland"

"Daunte's Roasted Peking Ducks"

"Daunte's Peeking... and Ducking"

"Daunte's Poking... Joe in the Ass"

"Daunte's Piecing... it back together, he thinks"

"Daunte's Puking Black & Silver"

"Daunte's Pole-sitting"

"Daunte's Packing... Fudge"

"Daunte's Posing"

"Daunte's on Pace... for his WORST Season ever"

"Daunte's Praising... Randy the Raider"

"Daunte's Posturing... for a trade to Oakland"

...

There are just a few for ya, buddy.

...

Also,... just want to do a quickie roster update:

Patrick Ramsey (and there a TON more teetering and ready to topple)...

Geez, Joe,... could you wait until the very last possible moment to get your lineup in?  ALL 19 other owners from the two leagues have their lineups in at this point.  What, in God's name, are you figuring out week in and week out right up until a minute before gametime?  Whatever it is, it hasn't really helped you WIN GAMES!!!  Either that means that you are not good at figuring things out or that submitting your lineup at the very last second (and being a pain in my administrative side by not allowing me to get a jump on my Sunday work) isn't a worthwhile strategy (or giving you bad karma)... OR BOTH!!!

Joe : I just finished another painfully excruciating conversation with you on the tele...and I asked myself: " Self, how meaningless has life become?" I mean jeez , my dog was sitting there; why couldn't I just talk to him instead. Or better yet, I just had a new screen door installed; why couldn't I speak to it? Finally, it dawned on me, why spend hard earned money on movie comedy or cable T.V, when I can get real live entertainment over the phone. Now I'm no Drew Rosenhaus, but as your self-annointed agent, I really must advise you to start your own 900 line, or at minimum, start charging Steg to have you in the league. Genius like yours sir is, well, rare after all.
(you don't have to rub it in with these guys but I know(as your agent), that you have a significant lead in your Nascar league...YEEE HAAAA!

I will make fun  of myself.  I am an idiot for not starting 3 WR.  I forgot 2 of my WR were not playing due to injury and the 3rd is on a bye......  UGH!!!!

Quoting from the "Comments" section of Joe's lineup page...

Quote:
I will be traveling this weeknd, and will not have computer access. Please accept any trades that the other owners tell you about.

Fellas, I forgot to report the following trade between Joe and me:

Ahman Green, Willis McGahee, Jimmy Smith and Brandon Lloyd (and that's about it ) for my second-round free-agent pick Week 11.

Make sure to jot that down, guys...  AND, do any of you have any Week 4 trades with Joe to report???

Ahhh yes Mr. Warner, thank you for the early X-mas tidings. That 3rd WR (unless it was the incomparable Tony G; known on a first name basis by capt. Nascrap himself Joey P.) would have certainly made the difference for you...OUCH!

Yes, you are welcome.  That 3rd WR did cost me 2 Losses.  However, I do not feel too bad because the guy I had top on my list sucked it up this week.

So both Daves beat me up this week.  Congrats to you both.....

Well, looks like I lied.  I went 1-1 as I seem to have beaten Bohrer thanks to Steve Smith posting only 12 yards.  I thought Farve's 4 TDs would of clinched the loss for me.  Little did I know that Steve Smith stunk up the joint.....  close game though!!

Hey, I think I heard Daunte speaking, "Brad's Peaking!!!"

That must have been because Daunte's peeking in at Brad's performance... from the sidelines...
