Hmmmm (at first that was an "Ahhhh!")... While doing the transactions, I thought I saw what was up. I thought in reporting it here, D.O., you (too, in rushing, I supposed) got it backwards... According to your lineup submission, I had gotten it that you got his fourth-round DRAFT pick and HE got YOUR ninth-round draft pick back. I did put in a quick call to D.T., however, and he told me that you two had it (incorrect, mind you, as per my commentary above) that in some way draft picks needed to be exchanged... in that "courtesy-type" manner. Again, that is NOT the case. I am not processing that part of the trade. NO drafts picks NEED to be exchanged given the dynamics of this trade. ... And, by the way, fellas,... I hope you are ALL having a HAPPY THANKSGIVING... http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=58;a ction=display;num=1038462515.

OKAY, OKAY... Man, did this get confusing!!! I NOW just realized that that fourth-round draft pick you had indicated that you received on your lineup submission form was from Warner in the deal you made with him. AND, in THAT deal, a ninth rounder NEEDED to go back to him since you had gotten his fourth rounder. ... Now, in a didactic spirit,... D.O., everybody who also gets confused with the "'courtesy' pick return policy",... notice the dynamical difference between the two trades. NO "courtesy" pick needed to be moved in his deal with Trout, BUT one DID NEED to be moved in his deal with Warner... precisely because he was receiving (either) a draft pick (or a protection spot) in the deal. Returning "courtesy" late picks has nothing to do with the exchange of players, no matter how "uneven" the trade is with respect to the exchange of players. It ONLY comes into play when draft picks/protection spots are involved.
