'06 In-season Trade Talks

Hey, fellas, REALLY LATE in the ballgame here...  Just could NOT get to the computer here (Wednesday).  Anyway,... anybody interested in my first free-agent pick this week, FIRST OVERALL that is???  If so, contact me A.S.A.P.  I have just finished all the "sundry" tasks on the Grid here.  I still have to do an update at "Steg's List" and a "Broncos FF-specific Team Report" before I go to bed.  I also have to get my lineup in for JYJ's "experts" league.  I have class from 1:30 to 2:45 Hawaii time tomorrow, game day, SO I WON'T BE AROUND RIGHT AROUND KICKOFF, and have significant reading to do for the class, so I'll be putting at least a preliminary lineup in for the GBRFL before going to bed tonight/this morning, too.  POINT BEING, if you are interested in procuring the FIRST OVERALL free-agent pick this week, don't wait!  Try to catch me before I go to bed tonight.  I have to shower too...  I would say you have about 90 minutes of this post before I am calling it a night. If you don't catch me tonight, I will try to check in before I leave for class tomorrow.  But, bottom line, we're not working with a whole lot of time.  Let me know A.S.A.P. if you are interested, and I'll do all I can to oblige.

Guys, I could really use an extra free-agent pick this week.  It doesn't even need to be a first-rounder.  I just need a kicker, but there are two or so free-agents I want to go after, none of whom am I really nuts about, mind you, so this could blow up in my face if I don't get the couple or so that I want.  I.e., my free-agent request list isn't that long, so if I don't get the dudes I want, I will have just made a useless, though I am sure not very big, trade.  In return for a free-agent pick this week, I would be willing to give up a future one.  I am also willing to move players such as Ashley Lelie, Correll Buckhalter and/or Ryan Moats.  PLEASE, willing parties, give me a shout at your earliest possible convenience.  Thank you!

I am looking to move Kevan Barlow.  He is currently tied for 4th in rushing TDs in the league.  And while I know he is not LT2 or Larry Johnson, he is out producing many of the crappy backs that some of you are starting.

What am I looking for back?

I am looking for a something like a draft pick or protection spot back for him.(would even consider a better than decent WR)   If I do not get decent value back, he will just continue to guard my bench, where as he could start for many of you.(especially with the bye weeks coming up.)

Barlow with ANOTHER TD today.  12 rushes, 49 yards.

True, but there's another pertinent stat:

Leon Washington: 20 rushes, 129 yards, 2 tds.

Yes, he did get more carries and better stats.  However, the Jets have said Barlow will continue to get 15 carries.

Here is the important stat:

Here are some of the RBs started this week in someones line up:

Najeh Davenport  1 carry   - 1 yard
Verron Haynes  1 carry 11 yards
Dominic Rhodes  13 carrys 26 yards
Pittman 3 carries 14 yards
and a consistent starter in the past weeks:
Reuben Droughns  12 carries 33 yards

So with that being said and Barlow having 5 TDs on the year, I clearly think he is worth a draft pick of some sort.

My first round f/a pick is available if anyone would like it in week 9.  I would want a future week #1 pick back.

I am looking to improve my Qb position. I can offer Pennington or Kitna, and one of the following (Ahman Green, Henry, Berrian, Norwood.) Duante is even available. I also have draft picks to offer. Send me an offer. I have sent a couple of you guys and offer. Get back to me, we only have one day left. The best thing to do is to call my cell phone tmrw. I will check my email in the morning, but will not have access during the day tmrw.
Call me and let's get a deal done.
