I am willing to trade the standard price, 2nd round pick, for a protection spot.   Give me a call if you are interested.  703-346-1297 (cell) or 703-764-0670 (home)

I believe (to wit, I've told this to, at least, Joe) that, given the lack of (rookie) depth of this year's draft, giving up a protection spot for a mere 2nd-rounder in return is not at all a good deal.  Protection spots this year, at least, are worth 1st-rounders.  That's where I stand.  Point being, want one from me, that's what I want in return.  If not, I'll GLADLY keep a fella like, let's say, T.J. Duckett on my roster instead (and let the draft be further flooded).
