2010 Off-Season Trade Talks

Figured I would start this off here with all the free agency stuff in the news. I'm look to deal this off-season, at least much more than I was the past couple years. I am certainly looking for protection spots. I also have receivers to deal (Steve Smith, Roddy White, Steve Breaston). Breaston is going to be projected in the top 20 since Boldin is gone and he is going into his breakout year. Email me.

I am looking to upgrade at RB. Ronnie Brown, Pierre Thomas, Steve Slaton, and of course ...OLD MAN LT2 is available also. I would not want much at all for LT2 Draft pick, or something like that....maybe a pro-spot or (2nd rounder) and I give back a 6th rounder. I dont know how to value him except that he is a backup, maybe he lands on a good team. He is a bit better than a borderline guy, not sure if he can produce #3 RB numbers consistantly. Also: Vincent Jackson, Percy Harvin,.... Meachem, and Garcon I want to trade 1 or more of these guys. Meachem and Garcon are #3 WRS with room to grow, I value Meachem more than Garcon.

I am still looking for deals, I want to shake things up. Clearly, based on my deals so far, I am willing to give up good players at less than "market value". So feel free to make offers. Specifically, if anyone is looking for a top 5 defense (probably), I will trade the Green Bay Packers somewhat on the cheap since I have the Jets. I am looking for a draft pick or protection spot.

| Wow, that must of been hard to decide. Keeping two starting running backs.

Yea, that third line was totally perplexing and completely non sequitur. In context, it suggests that, before trading Slaton for White, he was actually considering cutting one or both of them, which is totally absurd... and, I think, simply untrue. But, then again, when has the truth ever acted as an obstacle for Joe. Thing is, there is no point to this claim.

LOL, you guys kill me. I guess my post was taken...and implied in the wrong context. If you read my earlier post, in the same thread, that I was looking to upgrade Ronnie Brown and Pierre Thomas. With Ronnie getting good reports of his injury, and Pierre Thomas getting an extension soon, that I have the 2 top 20 RBs that I was looking for to go with my #1- Mendenhall. I will have to stick with these 3 as my top RBs, since I can't upgrade for a top 6 guy. I will have to deal with it. I plan on making some positive NOISE this year. Look out DB you will be de-throned this year!!!! Although it may not be by me. It probably be Frank or Pak that will dethrone you, but I will make some chinks in your armour. Just some early trash talking.

| Oh, you mean like this report... "Ronnie Brown sat out of Miami's OTA today for precautionary reasons, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel's Mike Berardino. Our View: Brown recently had a screw removed from his right foot. He's expected to be back to, or at least near, full health by the time training camp starts in July. Still, he remains a very real injury risk." Link: http://ownersedge.fanball.com/player_notes/nfl/2010-06-09/both/06/2010.

LOL, yes, just like that one. There are a few more out there too. Or this one: http://fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/players/playerpage/4072 35/ronnie-brown?tag=pageContainer 1/2 empty or 1/2 full??? I'm not sure, but you know as well as I do, their will be guys on both sides. Pick and choose which stories are more accurate....I think both guys could be correct..."when" he plays he is a beast...the key word being "when". Just calling it as I see it. Ronnie is the classical case of high risk/high reward.

He is not looking good this year, hence I am lookng for another WR to COVER MY ASS!!! I am open to acquiring another wr at this point. Who knows what/if/when VJ will play, if at all, this year. ...Little selfish prick. His trade value is shit, so he is pretty much off the market, because he is too cheap. **** I am now looking for a solid #2 WR to replace him, let me know if you have any wrs that fit this bill you are looking to deal.

I am looking to move a receiver or the Packers D. I have more protectable players than protection spots.

In trying to determine my cuts and keeps, I have something to throw out there... for anybody who still believes in this guy. WR Anthony Gonzalez, who is supposedly going to get an opportunity to win his job back from Pierre Garcon this training camp, is "officially" on the block... for, for believers, what I take to be an affordable price. If you are possibly interested, let me know!

Heya, guys! Just wanted to say that the trade I made with Travis does NOT preclude my interest in dealing Gonzalez (per the post right above). In fact, I could now deal him (for a non-player commodity) with the protection spot. That could be a bit tricky, though, as the going rate for a protection spot is a 2nd-round draft pick. I would, thus, need more than that for the spot plus Gonzalez. My take is that, if the deal isn't enough, I'd rather either just deal you the protection spot for a 2nd-rounder and throw Gonzalez back into the pool or just protect him myself. Okay, off Gonzalez, who really represents just one specific possibility,... based on this trade with Ravenous T, I am now also in a good position to do a one-for-two deal without my needing a protection spot to be included or a two-for-one deal where I could include the protection spot. Being in such a position can surely facilitate a trade, and I am ready and willing. Thing is, nothing at a glance jumped off the "Rosters" page at me. So, if something strikes you, by all means hit me up a.s.a.p.
