2017 Summer Meeting & Draft

Alas, getting this posted... 'Tis actually earlier than last year.  However, fellas, generally since graduating last summer, and then in earnest when I finally had some time to sink my teeth into the endeavor in the spring, and now in hot pursuit this summer when I have had some time off, I have been on the job hunt for a permanent position (in a more affordable area... on the mainland) and GETTING MY ASS HANDED TO ME.  No big... It will all work out in the long run, but it has been and remains to be an extremely time-consuming and trying effort to put it mildly, and it ain't over.
As such, I need each of YOU GUYS to tell me right here on this thread when for you would be a good time to conduct the 2017 GBRFL Draft.  For my part, we do not even know whether we are staying or leaving... for the fall semester, in other words, by MID-AUGUST.  I have several pending apps, quite literally from sea to shining sea.  Honest to goodness, I will probably be here in Hawaii on the phone doing the draft, but on the other hand an old-school get-together at, say, Frank's in New Jersey is not out of the realm of possibility (given what I have floating out there) and anything in between from east to west, north to south, and if anything does break and we end up on the move, it is going to happen FAST and likely during the period when we usually draft, and so adjustments may have to be made on the fly.  That said, I really cannot give any firm input at the time, so I am handing it off to you guys at least for now... What yous got???

Duuuuude, SERIOUSLY!!! And, stated so nonchalantly...  With NINE other guys to work around, you know you just SINGLE-handedly knocked out THREE SATURDAYS, the most preferred day of the week mind you, in MID-TO-LATE AUGUST, a.k.a. PRIME FF draft real estate!!!???

I hate to defend the chump, I mean the champ , but 2 of those Saturdays appear to be out anyway.

Yeah, but that does not change the fact that he knocked out three (out of four!?) PRIME (Satur)days on his own in one fell swoop.

Available any other nights, and all Sundays. |

I can make most work outside of the 18-19 of August. I am at a concert Saturday so even doing via remote would be difficult, to say the least. Not impossible, but difficult. Otherwise, I think I can work with the league.

Heyas, fellas! I think we still have to leave the Draft date open for now. BUT, I can do the Lottery ANY weekday evening after, say, 7:30 p.m. (ET) and anytime on the weekend, except for the fact that we need to be considerate of the difference in time zones. You guys tell me when you want to roll this thing...

Okay, from my end, the best upcoming weekday for the lottery would be THIS Wednesday, August 2nd, or NEXT Wednesday, August 9th. I am at work and not in a position to send out an email to the gang at the moment, so I do not know if at this point this news can travel fast enough to make this Wednesday a genuine possibility. Even though not everybody has to attend, as commissioner I want everybody to have enough notice to consider attending. It will be done by conference call. I will try to get an email out to everybody later (but later my time is very LATE for most you, effectively tomorrow), so if you want to make this Wednesday happen and if someone else can send one out sooner, go for it! Let me know here on this thread if you did!
