2018 Summer Meeting & Draft

Heyas, Guys! Getting on this late this summer, and there are some severely extenuating factors this year... So, I am going to cut to the chase. I think we really need to make a concerted effort to have this year's cyber/conference-call meeting and draft Labor Day weekend, September 1st, 2nd or 3rd. At least one owner, who is dealing with very unusual but very legitimate circumstances that make just about any other weekend impossible, will be immensely thankful. If not, we are going to have to do it very soon, like no later than the weekend of the 18th. Let's shoot for Labor Day weekend if at all possible! In any event, let's get to hammering this out...

Okay, with EVERYBODY having chimed in  what day do we want to go with? Please remember that we are looking at a start time of no earlier than, say, 5:00-ish (ET), which is 11:00-ish a.m. for me in Hawaii.
My preference... Saturday, September 1st. Yours?

Alright, fellas, I think I have given everybody enough time to chime in on the scheduling of the specific date for the 2018 GBRFL Summer Meeting & Draft, and at this point I think we need to get it scheduled and attend to some other related matters. Unless there is a MAJOR objection grounded in a VERY legitimate reason, ...
The 2018 GBRFL Summer Meeting & Draft will be held via conference call and then here on "the Gridiron" on Sunday, September 2nd starting at 5:00-ish (ET)!!!
That means that protections will be due by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, August 26th. Here is the thread to do that on: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1533529950.
Assuming there are no major, legitimate objections, that leaves just one pending matter: the scheduling of the Draft Lottery. It really does not matter when we do it. I know people have their "strategic" preferences and of course people's schedules are a consideration, but in theory it could be conducted anytime between now and draft day. As an important aside, there is the matter of our dealing with the problem of nonparticipation, which has been being discussed here: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=53;a ction=display;num=1514813199. The Draft Lottery conference call could afford us the opportunity to discuss the matter live and really prepare to make a decision on it come draft/meeting day. If we want to do this, it would be best for us to schedule the lottery for a time that maximizes the chances of full participation. So, does anybody want to express any preference as to when we conduct the Draft Lottery? Let's get to it!

Well, fellas, I am looking at the calendar and things are getting a little out-of-hand on my end, and so I have got to cut to the chase regarding scheduling the Draft Lottery. Assuming yous want me to be present, which actually is not a requirement, my dates of availability are -- I now realize -- quite limited. Here are the only dates I can do it, and it would not be able to be until around 6:00-7:00 p.m. or, for Frank on weekdays, 8:00 p.m. (ET):
Tuesday, August 14th (that is less than 48 hours from now)
*** THEN, NOT UNTIL ***
Friday, August 24th
Saturday, August 25th
Sunday, August 26th (cutdown day)
Whatchyas want to do? No time for hesitation in reply...
