Being a Giant homer, I am just glad he signed. I wonder if he and Tiki made up? ???

After signing, Strahan talked about Shockey and said something to the effect of, "He is the most exciting Giants offensive player we have had in a while."  Kind of sounds like a slap in the face of Tikki, even while they say their feud is "old news".
