Green has a "mysterious injury" according to the sporting News. Below is the short snippet. I love Butch Davis for his clarity on the issue. Between him making things clear regarding Couch and Green, he makes our lives much easier as fantasy owners knowing who to start. (sarcasm intended) Here is the brief blurb: William Green - RB, Cleveland Browns Sept. 5, 6:29 p.m. Green was sent to the Cleveland Clinic for undisclosed tests. Browns coach Butch Davis said Green, expected to start, got a "little stiff and sore" in the team's morning walkthrough. Green missed four of the five minicamp practices this spring with a sore calf, sat out during the club's quarterback school with a groin injury, and was sidelined for part of training camp with a shoulder injury. When asked what Green’s injury was, Davis said, "It's not a question that I think you should ask." Fantasy Spin: The Browns want to control the clock with the running game, which matches Green's style. Green is a powerful runner who should have a good fantasy day against the Kansas City, but his status is uncertain pending the medical exam. Check back tomorrow for an update on his condition.
