WR Help, Please...

Here is my receiving corps, as it stands now...

Randy Moss - starter
Johnnie Morton -  starter week 1
Kevin Dyson - reserve week 1
Antonio Freeman - reserve week 1

There are some quality (?) WRs still on the Free Agent list including...

Q. Ismail (IND), D. Thompson (WAS), C. Bradford (HOU), C. Conway (SD), K. Robinson (SEA), Q. Morgan (CLE), D. Patten (NE), W. Chrebet (NYJ), D. Stallworth and J. Pathon (NO), J. Jurevicius (TB), etc.

I have a TE I can drop for an extra roster spot.  #1, should I keep all of my current WRs?  #2, is there anyone who catches your eye from the FA list?

Thanks in advance!

I'd drop Antonio Freeman and probably the TE and pick up Ismail and Conway.  As things stand right now, I see Freeman as a 2a receiver (with Pinkston as 2b), while Conway is a good and solid #1 and Ismail is now a solid #2.  TEs are a dime a dozen for backups and you can pick up a guy for bye weeks.

As far as starting next week... its a tossup between Conway vs. Houston and Morton vs. Jacksonville.  I'd probably go with Morton and give him another shot.

Thanks bgsg.  I didn't realize that Conway wasn't already on someone's roster, so that name jumped out at me too.

I like the Missile, but was steered away from him when Dungy named Reggie Wayne the starter opposite Harrison.

My extra TE (behind Shockey) is Zeron Flemister, so no use saving a spot for him.

Anyone else have ideas?

OK... I'm back with another WR dilemma.

I had a huge week 1 (Priest Holmes and Travis Henry!) and have the most points in my league, so I ended up at the very bottom of the waiver-wire priority list.

Despite that, I was still able to pick up Qadry Ismail.

Now my receiving corps looks like this...

Randy Moss, Johnnie Morton, Qadry Ismail, Antonio Freeman.

I start 2 WRs (obviously Moss is a no-brainer).  I'm torn between Morton and Ismail.  I started Morton last week (to the tune of 1 point).  I'm leaning towards Morton again just because of the matchups.

Ideas?

(I also have to choose between starting the Bears Def or the Chargers Def.)

Any help would be appreciated!

I would start Morton. Ismail will be going against the Fins DEF and may get shut down. Morton should see more balls this week as Vermiel said Morton will get moe involved this week.
Good luck.

Thanks DOLFAN.  That's the way I was leaning.  I'd definitely start the Missile if he was playing a less impressive D.

Agree with Morton, this could be the game he establishes him self.  Chargers as I think they will take the Texans seriousley to avoid being embarassed like the cowherders.

Thanks ugley.  I was also thinking Chargers.  Houston offense will probably make some mistakes (INTs) and allow some sacks (missing some starters) and the Bears defense is a little banged up right now.

Might as well bring this thread back...

WRs - which 2 do I start?

Randy Moss (no brainer), Johnnie Morton, Donald Driver, Qadry Ismail...

I'm leaning towards Moss and Driver.  Morton has been a huge disappointment so far.  Ismail looks somewhat attractive this week.
