Well, I think based on their matchups this week as well as the particularly short leash Griese is on these days, it depends on what you are going for...

Go with Griese if you are looking high risk, high reward.  As good as San Fran looked in New York Week 1, I still think their pass defense is vulnerable.  Griese showed that, perhaps, he needs the pressure to perform well.  This week that pressure will exist from the get-go.

On the other hand, McNabb is up against a VERY tough Washington pass and overall defense.  However, there is no chance of his getting pulled.  I do not think he will have a good week this week, at least not through the air.  I suppose he could break a few plays with his feet though.

I would make my decision between the two accordingly.

Shanny hasn't minced words - he'll pull a struggling player for the sake of the team. I wouldn't want to be Griese IN San Fran this Sunday.

Go with McNabb. He's always performed decently in Washington, and with any luck, Washington will force the game into a shoot-out.

McNabb is the easy pick here. He will give you steady #s and rushing yds. Greise has a confidence problem that will cost him his job by yrs end.

Has your partner been   or  ?  You  have to go with McNabb.  I'd consider trading your partner though.
