WEEK 3 "Red Zone Players of the Week" are simply to be ONE player from each of the FIVE skill positions, QB, RB, TE, WR, PK. Just list ONE for each position, no stats projections necessary. Let's keep it simple for the newbies! Also, I do not always want to be "the first" guy posting on these type things. So, I would like someone else to chime in first. I will give the basic template/pattern I want you to use. Again, PLEASE follow it closely for the newbies. THANKS! Here is the pattern to follow (cut and paste it if need be): QB - ... RB - ... WR - ... TE - ... PK - ... I'll post mine on Friday. 8)

QB - Jake Plummer (may not lead the Cards to a win, but will put up some good passing #'s against a suspect secondary that has not as of yet really been challenged) RB - Marshall Faulk (not very ballsy, I suppose, but will make up for two semi-lackluster games by having a MONSTER game on Monday night against the Bucs and in the process lead the Rams to their first victory of the season) WR - Terry Glenn (without Green in the lineup, this will be Glenn's coming-out party) TE - Eric Johnson (people better start gettin' to know this guy... he is for real and Mariucci is going to want to make up for what happened against Washington in Japan... they can't do it with the long-ball yet and their running game is still a bit of a question-mark... ='s big game from Johnson) PK - Mike Vanderjagt (sticking with him ALL season)

QB - Tom Brady So far in 2002, The Chiefs are anked 31st in passing yards allowed. Consider that their opponents (a Kelly Holcomb led Cleveland and a rebuilding Jacksonville) weren't exactly passing juggernauts, and there is much cause for concern in Kansas City. Brady is going to be big this week. RB - Ricky Williams has been huge in the first two games of the season, and absolutely torched the Colt's defensive front in week 2 Now he's playing the Jets who gave Travis Henry his Career rushing game. The Jets that gave up 163 rushing yards to the Patriots last week. The Jets that allowed Henery to average 5.1 yards a carry, Antowain Smith to average 4.4 yards a Carry, and even Kevin Faulk to average 4.8 yards a carry against them. Ricky is better than all of these guys, and it going to go off. WR - Marty Booker NO is ranked 28th in passing yards allowed so far this season. Marty Booker is averaging 11 targets per game and is clearly Jim Miller's #1 guy. If he draws Hawthorne in coverage, he could have a field day with the inexperienced cornerback. TE - Bubba Franks The loins ranked 28th in TE scores allowed last season. So far this year, they are 27th in passing yards allowed, and that is after facing Rodney Peete and Jay Fielder. Farve is going to torch them. For recievers, Franks is the only returning Reciever that Farve had last season. K - Cleveland's Kicker Who knows, just my Gut feel.
