As a Steelers fan, I am very happy with the way Sunday's game played out.  The defense finally looked decent - against a team that had gaudy pass stats up till this point.  Maddox looked pretty good in spite of a great interception.  Kordell did not look all that bad, and I believe it will work out with Maddox being the "reliver" as Cowher talked about.  Fu was used quite a bit, which has been overdue as he has looked better than both Amos or Jerome since training camp.

My FF perspective still hasn't changed (much).  I said at the beginning of the season that the only Steelers back who was worth where he was being drafted was Fu.  i still see the Steelers QB as a good play based on the strength of the receiving corps - with the HUGE caveat that it doesn't become QBBC.

It is also interesting to contrast the Steelers and the Vikings.  Kordell and Jerome were obviously on different pages regarding how a running play should have been run.  They were on the sidelines vehemently discussing it (graphically even) but the discussion ended with smiles and pats on the back.  Kordell's reaction when Maddox scored to force OT seemed very genuine.  This is a team that looks to be mentally tough enough to deal with the disappointing start to the season.

Yea, The Stilla,s are making me nuts.  Drafted Plax for my # 2 wr.  Traded for Famous to back up the Bus in my dynasty league.  I can't imagine why cowher won't start Maddox or even Batch.
