Last night's Game

Guys,

Given my "locationally-challenged" circumstances, I, as usual, was not able to watch the game.  HOWEVER, I did listen to a bit of it via NFL.com.  Now, this is coming from a staunch Broncos fan, granted. (his name here at "the Gridiron" is "Elway" for those who don't know) BUT, was this game poorly officiated, particularly in the first half, to the degree that it almost seemed fixed? It just seemed like bullshit call after bullshit call against the Broncos. What are the takes of the guys who saw the game?  I'd like to know...  Inquiring minds would like to know! ???

I had to share the tv with wrestling fans   so I didn't see all the game - but what I saw was a genuine ass-kicking.  I don't see how anyone could say the game was fixed - unless they think the Broncos were paid off.

I just want to be clear here.  I do not actually think the game was fixed.  My question is just "was the officiating just that bad?"

I'm ashamed to admit it too, but I missed the game as well.  I was on a plane from Canada back to NJ in the good ol' US of A.

I'm absolutely not implying that you believe this Steg, but anyone who thinks officials make calls to help one team over another is smoking crack.

I'm upset that I missed it... sounds like it was a good one.  The question that I have is how could Denver be so stupid as to not know the rules of the game?  From what I've heard, most of them were walking off the field as McAllister was taking the missed FG in for a TD.

Steg ol' boy, I know how much you love the Broncos, but last night they played like absolute SHIT. The officiating was right on the money most of the time, although they seemed to review way too much at the end of the first half. The Broncos were lit up early and soon after began to show their frustration. Yelling and bumping judges, taunting (I didn't get to hear it, but it must have been good), and miscellaneus crappy play. All that and dropped passes, missed blocks, and plenty of HUA attitudes to make it the blow out that it was.

Sorry, I know the truth hurts, but I call em as I see em.

Dudes, it is just that one of the times I was able to listen to a significant chunk of the game was during the second quarter when Deltha O'Neal was (rightfully) chucked out of the game after he shoved an official, but that happened after what was alleged by the color (no, not "colored" ... that's an issue for Johnnie Cochran... But, I digress, you notice how no one complains about equal opportunity in the booth, even the vaunted Monday Night Football booth... ... It is ALL about the ) commentators to have been a horrendous call against him.  The Ravens then went on an 80-some-odd-yard drive, of which 61 of those yards were gained on fuckin' penalties. They ended up scoring just a field goal, but it seemed like that drive changed the complexion of the game in favor of the Ravens.
