I picked up Couch as my backup QB in one league thinking that against the Ravens, he would be a good bye week fill-in for Culpepper. Now I'm not sure, and to make matters worse, the only QBs I can get off waivers worth anything are Maddox, J. Martin, and Pennington. I originally thought Couch would be good for 250 and 2 TDs, but looking at his stats from last week, I'm not so sure now.
Does anyone think he will be decent vs the Ravens, or will one of Maddox or Martin put up better numbers?
I get 1 point per 25 yards passing, 6 points per TD, and -2 per INT.

In all honesty I did not see Pennington listed when I first read it and replied. And no if and or buts if you are schedule to play the Chiefs at this point, the passing attack is where it is at in a big way. Damn it!
I'd still go Maddox personally, but Pennington would be a better statistical start. I like pitsburgh's supporting cast and coaches alot more that NY's. They have Paul "can't" Hackett as Offensive co-ordinator? More than enough reason to run, as far as I'm concerned
One last thing, if your gonna kick my team, at least use the right numbers 
1366 yards passing, 4 games, 341.5 {nfl.com lists 1365, 341.2 ands it ONLY 11 touchdowns. Those are pathetic enough. Please don't embellish them.

You think Maddox has the best match up?? What about Pennington? Pennington is playing Kansas City, who by far and away has the worst defense in the league. They are giving up 426 yards per game in passing and 13 TD's. Granted, the Jets Offense hasn't done much this year, but something has got to give in this game.
My bet is after Pennington's performance last week, it will be the Jets that emerge. |

It's a shame when you have to defend your team that way... I think we've all been there man.
