Ok fellas here go's..................

In my league I have run into 1 roadblock/ bad situation after another, I am sitting at 1-5 and trying to bail out of this mess while I still have time. Some of the players I have I have aquired through trades. My team consists of:

QB's
Trent
Collins ( bye )
 Brad Johnson,
 Quincy

RB's
Shaun
Ahman ( just acquired )
Duce

Wr's
Horn
Jimmy Smith
Ike
Rice ( just acquired )

TE's
Pollard
Alge
Kleinsasser

Here is my question,
I am thinking about trying to upgrade qb, and also trying to trade players that still have BYE's.

I am thinking about offering:
Brad
IKE
Alge
Ahman

for
CuMar
Price
Shannon
Brady
Now I know what some of you guys are going to say, but CuMar is a great back, and had his bye last week, shaun already had his, A. green next week( the reason behind green going )
Price solidifies my WR corp ( and will be great trade bait, considering he still has a bye coming up )
Shannon will get his touches, and be a gr8 compliment to Pollard ( both have had slow starts )
Brady - Even though he has hit a tough stretch, I will feel better about him going in with green, than the other 3 I have mentioned, and will need a decent qb when Green has his bye

we play 2 qbs, 3 wr's, 2 rb's, 2 te's each game
1/10 6- td rush/rec,   1/25 6 pass td

Tough trade, but I think in the long run I will make out pretty good.

BTW: The guy who has Brady doesnt have another starting qb this week, which makes me think he'll do it, cuz he needs a starter this week.
 What do you guys think?

I understand the caveat that his not having a QB this week might push him over the fence and do the deal, but I would do a pared down version of the deal if possible:

Ahman, Ike and Alge

for

Martin, Price and Sharpe

I would leave the QB's out.  I actually like B. J. more than Brady, regardless of how scintillatingly Brady started out the season.

AND, actually, I like Ahman more than Alexander.  So, I would recommend doing:

ALEXANDER, Ike and Alge

for

Martin, Price and Sharpe

That's my take!  Good luck!

Thanks for the reply,
The reason I am thinking Green is because he has a bye in week 8 , Shaun is clear of that bs ( u know the bs I'm talking about.... Duce having to start for me.... grrrrrr ) I understand what your saying about Ahman/Shaun. I like green more myself. CuMar is now finally healthy, and the Jets seem ready to rock. I don't think much about Brad, and constantly have to go back and forth all week between him and Collins ( not this week though ) Brad has only done well for me 1 sunday, the rest crappy. At least Brady throws tds, and for more than 200-240 ( Brads average with 1 td on avg. )I'm trying to make the deal happen, and for it to happen, I think i would prolly have to add brad/brady - cuz he needs him. Like I said IMHO this is not an ez trade ( never is when talking studs )
 Thanks,
