How about Hutchinson starting for the Cowboys?

Now that Chad Hutchinson is the starter for America's team, how do you think he will do? Will he light it up, stink it up or somewhere in between? I, for one, do not think that he will find success often early on. He may develop into something special someday, but this season will probably bring more frustration than satisfaction. I could even see Quincy's eventually being brought back in to start. I guess what I am saying is that he is a project. If you pick(ed) him up, you need to be prepared to hold on to him for awhile.

| Yeah, after being a top quarterback prospect his sophomore year at Stanford, he decided to go into MLB instead. He spent the last 4 years with the Cardinals mainly sucking it up in Triple-A, only appearing in a couple MLB games. Now that he's not succeeded there, he found that the Cowboys actually might be desperate enough to play him. Ah well, its better than the Bengals right? Hell, every FA QB in the NFL refused to go to the Bengals. Bledsoe said "no" and Grbac said he'd rather retire. So I think people just see "oooh rookie QB" and think he must be good when talking about Hutchinson. I'll give him a 1/30 chance of succeeding in the NFL.

1/30 chance of succeeding? Not bad odds if you ask me. The way I figure it, 32 teams, 3 Qbs on each team, 96 Qb's. 1/30 is a starter. If he qualifies as a starter, I will take him. I think Hutchinson will hold his own. Not great, not bad. Maybe it is a two week stint, but other QB's have come out of nowhere. Kurt Warner, Aaron Brooks, Bulger, etc...... By the way, I am slightly biased towards Hutchinson as I had the foresight to pick him up before he was named starter. He will serve me well since the league I am in, GBRFL is a deep keeper league with 2 QB starters every week.
