I would actually try to deal K. J. if you can still get decent value for him. I really think that Morgan/Northcutt are better fits for what they want to do offensively in Cleveland. Davis has also come on nicely. I think K. J., contract notwithstanding, will (continue to) be the odd man out. As for dealing Timmy, you are in a similar sitch... Can you get decent value for him? I ultimately think that Brown will find his way to 1,100 or so yards and six touchdowns before this thing is over. With that said, I think he is dangerous to trade right now because I do not think you will get that kind of value in return. I say hold on to him, at least until he has another big game. K. J. would be safer to trade because I think his goose is cooked. Just try to hype up his big contract during negotiations. If you are persuasive enough, you should be able to get roughly the same value for K. J. as you would for Brown.

Hopefully this will not be the week he rights the ship, but you could not ask for a better matchup. As high as he was probably taken in your draft, you'll certainly not get equal value in a trade, so hope he does explode against a weak KC def and deal him for whatever you can get in week 9. |
