Chiefs  week 8 analysis

QB Trent Green -

Off week stats wise last week, but steady as she goes when looked at in blocks with a slight dip form the one bad game. When you're rb score 4 on the ground, tends to cut in a little bit
TDs - 3.3, 3.3, 1.67
yards 257, 286, 234

Raiders

TDs - 2.0, 2.6, 3.0
yards 407, 333, 257 {the always inspiring room for upside}

Summary: 250 yards and 3 tds, who doesn't want that?

RB Priest - A match made in heaven :punwhoopinexpected: But seriously, it don't get much better than this! Holmes numbers are incredible against any standard. When you find a guy who is already performing at a consistently high level, and I do believe it's safe to say Priest is playing above consistently high levels, and their match up is one where their numbers are at or below what the opponent gives up, priceless!

182, 169 and 181 are the padre's combined yard averages for the last three blocks. Touchdowns are 2.0, 1.3, 2.0. Receptions 6.6, 7.3, 7.6

Those same three blocks of Raiders against rbs?

yards - 182, 181 and 208
td's  - 2.0, 1.6, 1.6
receptions - 8.0, 6.6, 6.3

Summary: Oh! Oohh! OOoohhhh!! OOOooohhhhhh!!!! Excuse me, while I go get a towel.

WR - Kennison, Morton, Boerighter, Hall in that order if you must.

Another very lacking game for this crew last week. Raiders give up in yardage and td's right about the same with what KC's corp produces.

Summary: I just can't recommend a wr who plays for a team that has yet to top 9 catches in a game as a GROUP.

TE - Love Gonzalez, but take away week 4 against Miami, and we have a fantasy drought. Reality wise, he's doing a fine job, just isn't getting the redzone looks with Priest on such a tear. Faces a tough match up against a team that has given up to the te 1 catch for 1 yard in the last two games.
Two td's all season, 43 yards max receiving. I'll never say bench Tony G, but temper expectations.

Summary: 4 - 5 catches, 50 yards no td {football gods, feel free to make me look the fool here. Please?}

K - Andersen

His numbers click right along. did have his first miss, and it was a crucial one, But Mort is hopefully beyond the mental flip/flops that can be so detrimental to a kicker.
Rock solid numbers showing he continually get 3 or more xp and two or three  fg attempts. He's only scored less that 10 one week, and that was 8 in week 3.

Match up wise there is room for concern. The Raiders just as consistently give up no more than 1 fg attempt per game.  And out of the 4 games broken down for this, 1 total. 4 total attempts all season! Wow! No kicker has scored more than 7 in a game yet this season.

Summary: Something's gotta give this weekend and no defense has solved KC's offense yet, so look for Mort to get his 10. 4 xp, 2 fg

Since you're looking for praise, I'll throw some your way.  As long as you keep predicting greatness for the Priest, and he keeps delivering, I'll be reading your column with mucho interest.

Eh, a little truth there I suppose. :shrug:
Honestly more just a good buzz and what I thought was humorous pity bump. If ya believe that just goin' for replies is my main interest, you'd be wrong. At "some other board" I am King Of The Unreplied Post"   Doesn't stop me there either.

Quick question, for those who have been readin my breakdowns, do  you prefer them with or without the supporting numbers included? I am both cheap AND easy!

Include the numbers, please, you slut. Seriously, I think it makes your work better by making it more comprehensive.  Obviously, I think they are competent assessments.  Keep up the good work!  Thanks!

I honestly feel that you put the most effort into your analysis and the 3-game trend numbers shows that.  Keep up the great work!  And congrats on a big Chief win!
