Judging by the defenses each is facing, Griese seems like a no-brainer.

The Saints and the Broncos seem similar on offense (can run the ball well and use that to open up the passing game).

The Broncos face a WEAK Raider defense on Monday night while the Saints face a surprisingly strong Panther defense.

Man , I wish I had this choice instead of Culpepper, Collins or Bulger!
I agree with Philly. Both will put up good numbers, but I think Greise at home on Monday Night will have slightly better ones than Brooks on the road in Carolina.

Tough decision! I'd go with Griese on Mon. night. You really can't go wrong with either!

I gotta go against this trend.  Start Brooks.  He will seriously outperform Griese this week.

Brooks = 20 touchdows

1td game = 1
2td game = 4
3td game = 1
4td game = 2

Griese = 14 touchdowns

1td game = 2
2td game = 6
3td game = 0
4td game = 0

Brooks is top five in every scoring system I play in.
Griese is top 10, but never top 5 in every scoring system I play in.
Carolina has allowed only one 2 td performance by a qb
Oakland has allowed only one non-two or more td performance by a qb.

Damn man, no easy answer, but you can't lose either way. I usally "swing for the fences", but since both of them are such steady performers, I'd probably play the match up and go Griese.  I sure wish my own qb dilema were this win/win.

Monday night... Mile-High city... the Raiders in town... It don't matter if the guy's right arm is connected to his shoulder, Griese will be a monster this week.  I actually would not be surprised if the "Dr. Jekyll-Mr. Hyde" Saints show up this week.  But, regardless of that, the Denver/Oakland game will be high scoring, right up until the end.  Hell, just for excitement's sake, go with Griese.  I know this is not a factor that, strictly speaking, should be considered, but, fuck, ain't it all about havin' fun anyway.  It will make for a more enjoyable/exciting fantasy football week for ya'. Saints/Panthers snooze... do you even have Direct TV or live in one of those areas?
