Who to start... 3 Backs & 3 Receivers?

Received the following e-mail earlier today. Thought responding here makes more sense. Here is the message: "Hey What's up! What 3 Runningbacks and 3 Receivers would you start? Pittman, Michael Moss, Randy Williams, Ricky Owens, Terrell and McCardell, Keenan Mungro, James Johnson, Chad Jordan, LaMont Kennison Shipp, Marcel" I would go with Pittman, Mungro and Shipp at running back. Mungro will still get the carries this week over Williams. As for LaMont Jordan, as long as he remains behind Curtis Martin, he cannot be depended on. Meanwhile, Shipp is apparently in the process of unseating Jones for the starting gig in Arizona. Regarding Pittman, at this point you just have to live (or die) with the guy. A lot of us made the mistake of depending on him this year. If you can't move him, you just have to bite the bullet and stick it out with him as I see it. Playing the percentages, I think it is more likely that he produces something better than Jordan. At receiver, you just cannot bench Moss and Owens. I would go with Johnson as your #3 for the hell of it! Hope this helped! 8)

Steg, your LaMont Jordan prejudice is showing through. Sure he's no Ron Dayne, but, Pittamn has hit double digit fantasy points ONCE as the starter all year. Now he faces Carolina who is the number one fantasy defense against running backs. Jordan at least has a chance to see the endzone, a coach who says he'll continue to get more ops, coulda fooled me last week, and is facing a Detroit def who is third WORST against the run fantasy wise. Cut your losses and start a real football player.
