How about these little morsels HOT OFF "the Gridiron Newsstand"? "Mornhinweg indicated he was considering the possibility of starting Germane Crowell in place of Schroeder. Crowell, a fifth-year player, has been hampered by injuries since catching 81 passes for 1,338 yards in 1999. He missed the first five games recovering from knee surgery and has just eight catches in the past four games. If his knees are sound, though, he would give rookie quarterback Joey Harrington a big target with good speed and strength." Here is the link to the whole article: http://www.freep.com/sports/lions/lions12_20021112.htm "One of the few Lions not to drop a ball against the Packers was wide receiver Germane Crowell, who is returning from knee surgery. Mornhinweg might opt to replace Schroeder with Crowell in the starting lineup." I say, "Go get him, guys, if you already haven't!"
