Let's hear it for the Rams D!

I had a pretty good week all-around.  McNair had a nice game.  Randy Moss finally broke out.  Driver had a decent game.  Holmes and Portis had solid outings.  But my opponent had a solid week too, AND he had Hines Ward who went nuts.

So now I trail 112-99 and I still have the Rams defense going tonight.  I need 14 points from them.  (My league uses a combination of points/yards allowed plus sacks/INTs/FRs for scoring).  The Rams are averaging 11 FF points a game, but that includes a 1 point effort against the 49ers in week 5.

We are in a similar boat here yet again, Philly!  GO RAMS!
Thing is, though, if I had just played my Broncos, I would already have chalked up my two wins for the week.

I almost started the Panthers D this week, but the Peppers suspension scared me off a bit.  Good thing I didn't, they only got 10 fantasy points yesterday which would have left me 4 short of a win.

The Rams D has been playing pretty well lately and will hopefully force a bad Chicago offense into some mistakes.

Had a decent week myself, but once again played the guy who scored the most points this week. He had Brooks, George, RW, Jimmy Smith, and Meshawn. Plus his IDP's went nuts as well. Getting mighty cold down here in the cellar...

Sorry guys, I've got A-Train and Holt going for me tonight. I need a shootout.

Final Score - Lambs 48 Bears 49

I would love nothing more then to see their playoff hopes crushed at home on Monday night in front of the entire world. Did I mention that I hate the Lambs?

I was just told that my 12:00 - 1:00 class has been cancelled for today. That means I can listen to ALL of the Monday night game via NFL.com. It ain't visual, granted.  But, it is better than nothing, especially when you live in a place on the other side of the planet that's main event is the annual "October Mask-Dance Festival".

NOW THAT WAS FUN!  Even though the best I could do was listen to the games via NFL.com, THAT WAS A BLAST! I would have won my games by more with my Donkies in, but the way this all turned out for me this week, havin' that class off and everything, I would not have changed a thing.  It is weeks like these that make being part of this great hobby of ours SO GREAT!  How did it work out for you, my friend, Philly?  Did you get 2 pts. per sack and the 14 pts. you needed? ??? I hope so!

We get one point per sack in our league.  I'm still not sure how I did.  One page in my league shows me with the Rams D getting 15 points (enough for me to win) and another page with overall standings shows me with a loss for the weekend.   ???

Nothing is official yet, so I'm still waiting...
