I've got Warner twice, and barring any major news {such as Martz cancelling pratice today, wtf!} coming from pratices this week, I'll be starting him in one and leaving him on the pine in another. Vick is who I'll keep him on the bench for. Pretty equal matchups there, The one I'm starting him in is arguably by default. Miller, Bulger, Maddox, and Warner. Seems my decision has been made. I'll make my case for Green probably later today, but it's not gonna be real strong. Botom line, unless ther's a Couch/Pennington/Beurlein option, I'd start Warner in your case

give me just a couple of minutes. Coming right up All rankings are assuming performance scoring 6pt td 1 for 10 yardage for wr & 4pt td 1 for 25 passing for qb Buffalo def, last four weeks, three games {wks 8,9,11}, 4th toughest against wr corps. 103, 126 and 157 and 1 td to wr 68, 60 and 23 and 2 td's thru the air to rb 9th toughest against the qb 199, 265 and 197 and 4 pass 1 rush td to qb{note: qb has scored at least 1 td in each of these games} New Orleans def, last four weeks, three games {wks 8,10,11}, 5th toughest against wr corps 94, 209 and 100 and 1 td to wr 28, 27 and 29 an 0 td thru the air to rb 9th easiest against qb 195, 310 and 160 and 4 pass and 3 rush td to qb {note: two of the three games here were against Vick and the Falcon's. Counting Vick's runs, theyv'e given up 2 tds a game thru this stretch} With 3 of the touchdows being Vick runs, it should be noted that Couch has yet to run one in. Buffalo looked very good against the Chiefs this last Sunday, and I haven't seen Couch or Pennington enough to get a real good feel for either one. Hope this helps. To you and the others, ask anytime, it what I like to do

I would go with Trent Green this week, just based on matchup alone frankly speaking. Now I have a question! How do you all think Warner's potentially poor performance this week negatively affects the prospect of playing the Rams defense in what appeared to be a good matchup for them just a week ago? ??? Bottom line, I have St. Louis @ Washington, San Diego @ Miami and Denver vs. Indianapolis. Which one would you go with? The categories are as follows: yardage and points allowed, sacks, interceptions, fumble recoveries and points scored. Anyway, regardless of that answer, though, I am still curious to hear all of you out regarding the initial query above.

Just to add my opinion to the one's you already have: Warner looked bad in the begining of the year. In his few minutes last week, he still looked bad. Apparently, his throws wobble around in the air, making them inaccurate and difficult to catch. Faulk being questionable means all the pressure will be on Warner to win the game, and Bulger is nursing swolen fingers I believe, and I doubt Martz will put him in even if Warner struggles. I think your best option is Pennington, who is at 71% accuracy, and is playing extremely well. He will have to throw this week to keep up with the Bills, who I believe will be back on track and looking for revenge for that Week 1 overtime loss. If you don't want to get Pennington, T. Green's matchup makes him a must-play, since he will post pretty good stats even if it becomes the Priest show. (don't forget in the begining of the year, Priest and Green's great games came together). StegRock - I still think StL has a good matchup this week. Washington will not move the ball effectively with Wuerfell at QB, and the Rams have loaded up on sacks, INTs and Fumbles lately (all except last week when I needed 1 more sack or a turnover to win). I would have played them myself this week if I did not have SF playing against the McNabb-less Eagles.
