Week 13 Starters

Wondering what people think with this linup for
this week, MY projected starters in BOLD
 
QB : Michael Vick vs Min
   JEFF GARCIA vs Sea    -    Need 1
 
Garcia to me is a more solid bet here, Vick I agree
is hot at the moment, but Minnesota shut down
Favre 2 weeks ago in minnesota ?
 
RB : L.TOMLINSON vs Den
  P.HOLMES vs Ari
  S.Alexander vs Sfo -     Need 2
 
Holmes is a no brainer against the poorly Cardinals  
at the moment, Alexander was hot last week,  but he
blows hot and cold and dosen't generally have two
hot games in a row, where as LT has to come good
and where better than at home to get revenge against
denver...
 
WR : R.SMITH   vs  Sdg
   P.BURRESS vs Jac
   P.PRICE vs Mia
   K.Robinson vs Sfo
   D.Mason vs Nyg    -     Need 3
 
R.Smith is playing solidly, scoring in the last two games
P.Burress is a gamble here hoping that Maddox plays
so it good be a big game for him.
P.Price has been slow for the past few weeks to time
to get it up and when better than at home to Miami
 
 
K : A.VINATIERI vs Det
     R.Lindell vs Sfo    -     Need 1
 
DE : TAMPA  vs Nor
  St.Louis vs Phi   -     Need 1

I agree with all your starters except one and even it is a close call.  I would go with Alexander over Tomlinson.  I know the "cyclical theory," if applied here, would indicate the opposite, i.e. your conclusion, but Denver's rush defense can be STIFLING and I think they will come up BIG this weekend after the debacle last Sunday night and in what turns out to be (almost) a MUST-WIN game.  I think San Fran's D can still be exposed (reference Monday night) and I just have a feeling Seattle, after a nice win over K.C., will play "up" and Holmgren will go deep into his San Fran notebook and pull out ALL stops in response to the Terrell Owens "Sharpie" incident.  To me, Alexander versus San Fran has a better chance to hit "paydirt" than Tomlinson against Denver.  Good luck, at any rate!

In their first meeting this year, Tomlinson was held to 48 yards rushing and failed to score.  
 
I'd start Alexander.

You have persuaded me, plus when I look at the
stats, Alexander ran for 96 yds and a TD last time
Sea played Sfo, but that was in Seattle... here's  
hoping it works well..... I really need a win this
weekend to beat off the guy that's on my tail !!
