I agree with what Mr. wrote that you can't really look much farther ahead than two or so years. Actually, in the GBRFL, a deep-keeper league, I don't look much further than one year ahead. THAT HAVING BEEN SAID, I would not do the trade. You speak of Ahman's knee ailments. What about Marshall's? I do not believe what you heard regarding Ahman's knees. If Ahman's injury issues this year are concerning you, look no farther than the guy you are thinking about trading for, Faulk that is, for similar precedent. Faulk, back in Indy and now again as of late, has developed a VERY similar history of injuries. Ahman should be fine for next year. Though I said what I said above regarding not looking to far off into the future, Green is just TOO young to be anywhere near done, while Faulk is on the verge of being TOO old as far as running backs go, though I, too, think he will be around for another year or two. I do not think he will be the same Faulk of old anymore, however. It's a close call, but I would stick with Green as things stand now.

Well, i think it's hard to argue that Faulk/Green should put up similar numbers, with Faulk being a much safer bet IMO. Injuries? Neither has torn an ACL or had any major injuries to my knowledge (no torn Achilles, etc). Faulk has proven he can come back from injuries quicker than others and they do not "nag" him throughout the year. Green... not so much. Faulk gets the ball in the redzone most of the time. GB passes most of the time. Green has a fumbling problem, Faulk does not. Come fantasy playoffs, Faulk *always* produces. Green... not so much. And if that's not enough to convince you to do the trade, how about the teams? Faulk has proven he can produce no matter the o-line situation or the quarterback. I'd like to see what Green could do without Favre. After all, Favre's only got another couple years left, which would make the age difference rather meaningless IMO. Hate to disagree with Steg here, but there's no way you turn down Faulk for Mr. Sweaty.
