Chiefs  week 14 analysis, KC vs StL

Quote Quote Modify Modify

QB - Green

P TD R TD PYards R Yds P Att Int
0.00 0.50 195.00 13.00 23.50 0.00
0.67 0.33 244.33 11.00 27.00 0.33
1.33 0.33 249.67 08.67 24.67 0.33

StL vs QB

P TD R TD PYards R Yds P Att Int
0.33 0.00 163.00 11.00 27.67 1.00
0.00 0.00 177.00 06.33 25.33 0.67
0.00 0.00 191.00 06.33 28.67 0.00

Summary: Trent showing gains in pretty much all areas. Faces a def that is pretty steady and allowing significantly less yardage. Probably not a career day in store, but 200 and at least 1 tdseems safe.

RB - Priest

RuTD RcTD Ru Yds RcYds # Rec
1.00 0.00 077.50 14.00 2.50
1.33 0.33 117.33 46.00 4.00
1.67 0.33 138.00 63.00 4.00

StL vs RB
RuTD RcTD Ru Yds RcYds # Rec
0.67 0.00 079.00 42.33 5.00
1.67 0.00 104.67 48.00 4.67
1.33 0.00 098.00 46.00 4.67

Summary: While I'll admit St Louis has a way better than average run def, better defenses have tried, and all but one have failed, to stop the Padre. 200 combined yards and 3 tds

KC WR Corp

RcTD RuTD Rc Yds RuYds # Rec
0.00 0.00 166.50 06.00 8.50
0.33 0.00 168.00 12.33 9.67
1.00 0.00 151.00 21.00 9.67

StL vs WR Corp
RcTD RuTD Rc Yds RuYds # Rec
0.33 0.00 098.33 01.00 9.33
0.00 0.00 109.00 01.00 9.33
0.00 0.00 114.33 01.67 9.33

Summary: As goes for Trent, same goes for the recievers. Starting to put up some consistantly decent numbers, but go up against a def that is not giving up what they've been putting up. I see pretty dismal numbers here.

TE - Tony G

RcTD RnTD RcYds RuYds # Rec
0.00 0.00 11.50 00.00 1.50
0.00 0.00 24.67 00.00 2.30
0.33 0.00 47.33 00.00 3.33

StL vs TE Corp
RcTD RnTD RcYds RuYds # Rec
0.00 0.00 22.33 00.00 2.67
0.00 0.00 20.00 00.00 2.00
0.00 0.00 30.67 00.00 2.67

Summary: Gotta keep playing him if you have him. He's is increasing in all numbers, just not by much. Hell of a player regardless of fantasy production this year.

K - Andersen

__FG _FGA __XP _XPA Max Kick Pts
1.50 2.00 1.50 1.50 7.50
1.33 1.67 2.00 2.00 7.00
0.67 1.00 4.00 4.00 8.00
StL vs K

__FG _FGA __XP _XPA Max Kick Pts
1.33 1.33 2.00 2.00 6.00
1.33 2.00 2.00 2.00 8.00
1.33 2.00 1.33 1.33 7.33

Summary: I really don't like kickers who have multiple misses as close together as Mort, but if anybody can be counted on to not let a slump "get to them", I'd give the older kickers the benefit of the doubt. He definetly qualifies as an older kicker

Non Offensive Team Unit

Who knows with this crew? The Chiefs NOTU looked like world beaters against the lowly Cards. They'd of been beaten by anybody in the world the week before. If Faulk is able to go near 100%, look for over 400 yards of offense just out of the two opposing rb. Jamie Martin doen't scare me, but I'd hope he somehow scares the Chiefs.

It's rare that I ever root for another AFC West team, but I'll be doin' it this week. The Rams' collapse has made my season and I'd love to see it continue.

As a side note....TheRams have notoriously given up big games to opponents' TEs. Not so much this year yet, but they have in the past. When they stack the box this week to try to slow Holmes, it will leave Gonzo one on one down the middle on MLB Jamie Duncan or OLB Tommy Polley, both of whom couldn't cover a 90 old woman with a case of Depends!

Actually, depending on perspective, of course  , that 19-13 thing you mentioned makes it much perfecter

I'm not sure what the outcomes division wise have done specifcally, but, I love the way all 4 are fighting it out! Damn goo year to be an AFC West fan

I'd love to see the Chiefs get into the playoffs.  They've got all division games left, so if they can take care of business, there's no stopping them.
