I'd treat Barlow as out. Dee Brown is their guy{although nick goings could see more this week}some gets some added value but damn, he should have been a much stronger play last week and kinda blah. Didn't see it, so just going by stats. Against Pittsburg, I don't know. Carolina has been giving up major passing game points recently, and without Peppers and Maddox getting a game back under him, I see a huge point total for Pittsburgh, say 37-38, and Carolina will have to give up on the run and air it out. Brown appears to be a very small part of the passing game. Leon is most of the carries for his team as wellwould as well, but as poorly as the Bears palyed Monday, no way can you feel good about that offense in any aspect. The Jets though, while not a terrible run def, give up middle of the road numbers week in week out as long as your getting yardage points, td only they are a very good run def and should probably be avoided. I'll throw this crazy idea out. Possibly Faulk and Gordon. Yup. Not a safe and sound long term srategy, but consider this matchup potential. I did this last night and I'll post it here as it shows that any running back you can throw at Ariz will score nicely{Chicago is prime meat, also}. ********************************************* Worst 15 defenses against the running back posistion weeks 10 - 14. 1 pt every 10 yards rush/rec, 6 pt td's team score allowed Arizona 151 Seattle 145 Chicago 134 St Louis 115 San Diego 115 Baltimore 105 Denver 96 Minnesota 94 Buffalo 94 Washington 93 Carolina 90 Detroit 89 Cincinnati 88 New York(N) 88 San Francisco 88 Defenses that have given up a 25 point performance to a single back weeks 10 - 14 Twice ari sea snd stl Once bal buf chi cin den In the "damn good" category of 14 to 24, the same 15 defenses 4 times chi 3 times was min ari twice sfr sea car buf balt once stl nyg det den cin In the 6 to 13 range these same 15 have allowed it 6 times {out of 5 games } sfr det 5 times snd 4 times was nyg min car ari 3 times sea den cin chi bal twice stl buf If you look at the totals chi 5 ari 5 sea 4 was 3 min 3 buf 3 bal 3 stl 3 ********************************************* Ok, still awake? in cold hard numers here's the runningback scores against arizona week 14 vs Lions Stewart 8, Schlesinger 2 {only chip in the armor} week 13 vs Chiefs Priest 28, T Rich 6 week 12 vs Raiders Garner 24, Wheatley 14 week 11 vs Eagles Staley 27, Levens 11 week 10 vs Seahawks Alexander 16, Morris 7 Faulk and Gordon baby.
